Strategically endorses Camel-uh right on cue.

The Zoomer-Millie childless hoebag vote was already hers, so no big whoop.

Doubt it, the powers that be know that they need to ride this gravy train a little longer. It made football relevant to a whole new demographic

Disagreed on all points. Kielce is milked, time for a new celeb crush for the marketing crew and her songwriters need some new vague insults based on football to insert into the lyrics of 'her' songs.

Sportsball is steadily declining in popularity, which is a good thing. Yes, it recovered from the kneeling a bit, and some switched to follow more college and less professional, but it's on the way out. There is no more "monoculture". The days of watching afterschool or Saturday morning cartoons for kids, or Sunday Sportsball is going away, because of a plethora of alternatives.

NFL revenue by year

2023: $19+ billion
2022: $18 billion
2021: $17 billion
2020: $12 billion
2019: $16 billion
2018: $15 billion
2017: $14 billion

As for Taylor and Travis, Time will tell, we all know The relationship is as fake as her public image, but I still don’t think they are calling it quits before winter. Too much money at stake. She LOVES all the attention too. She gets more TV time now than ever. The only way to top it would be to start dating a black guy/basketball player like the Kardashians did. Court side at a knicks or Lakers game in 2025 when it all crashes down for TS and TK? Or maybe better yet, start dating some WNBA player! Who will the next victim be? But here is the thing, those girls, her fans, they lap it up. They love her like Beatle Mania and Elvis fans loved the fab 4 and the king. Little do they know, inside Taylor is just a sad cat lady nearing the wall and still oblivious to the thing she lacks most in this world... Jesus.
There is nothing wrong with Taylor that Jesus can’t cure. And I mean the real Jesus, not the Jeesus BS Kanye was spewing. I feel bad for celebrities, it is almost impossible for them to meet Jesus because their wealth and privilege is a distraction from their real problem, spiritual poverty.

Price increases and inflation. And something of a 'blue chip factor' - advertisers and networks are willing to pay ever more of a premium for the same number of viewers because the NFL is one of the last performers in an environment of fractured TV audiences.

Remember the Emmys? Me neither. Once upon a time a month before them, talk of them was everywhere.

Viewership is a better metric. It's about the same as it was in 2010 but was lower most of the past decade. The general trendline is dropping softly over time.

NFL is using premium pricing on merchandise, ads, network rights, and ticket sales to offset a low slow slide in audience volume.

Consider the population growth, the increased number of viewer venues, etc.

On thing that might be remembered, Live TV is collapsing more than any other factor.

The above data show the NFL is basically the only thing most people watch on TV. NFL international audiences are growing every year. I’m not spending my time or money on it, but just like Taylor Swift, there is a dedicated fan base very loyal as well. I think we still have 5-10 years of NFL atop the ratings charts. The NFL is America’s biggest bread and circus. I expect this to continue until the rapture or collapse of America.

I’m not saying football is the fabric of the America, but there is a football game of some level (pro, college, high school) almost every night between September and January every year. Many people care much more about football than religion, politics or you name it. Football is the only reason some people have TV’s as illustrated above. When the relevance of football dies, America is dead. Not because football makes America great, but because America made football great.

It might be irrelevant to some, but to many people the loss of the NFL is similar to losing a constitution right. Which is why I don’t expect to see it die until the nation (constitutional republic) itself is over.

You're mistaking a fan base with fantasy football leagues and gambling. There are no "fans" anymore. People root against their own home city team because the guy on another team gets him fantasy points or he wins money. The sport is dead to me.

I tried last night with the Sunday night game with it being the Bears. The game sucks. They all do now. Baseball kind of passes since outside of fielding it's a 1 on 1 game for the most part. Team sports are dying because of the gambling. The amount of internal betting is completely unknown. So many ways to bet and not get caught as a player. Guys are throwing games.

Agree, they are football fans, not team fans. People love the drama, the betting, the energy of the game. Like it or not, football remains relevant even in this fake day and age.

It's the media. Local new stations cannot source national news. I don't know if it's AP that feeds them or what. They get a script and it's tossed in the prompter. Affiliates will do local stuff, but they can't do national.

SIL was a co-anchor weather girl on a small affiliate. All national stuff was fed to them. They might send a reporter out to a 5k for charity or a minor crime scene. I'd ignore the first 5 minutes of most local broadcasts. I don't watch TV anymore though and don't give a fuck. Better things to do raising 3 kids like fuck around on patnet. Not joking.

She makes my skin crawl. There's something off about her rise to fame. It will come to light at some point. The constant bashing of men in her songs. I don't think this was a Weinstein situation. I think she was the aggressor and manipulator. She has those eyes. Like who can I try to fuck over next.

I don't think her losing the rights to her catalog was a mistake. She's either a complete moron or it was payback. I think she's a vindictive cunt against men. I've seen them before. They'll always exist. She'll take a loss to fuck someone over. She's that bitch.

Dad was a Wall Streeter who brought up 1000s of her first issues to shoot her up on billboard or something. She's a complete Product.

In a few weeks, probably after football season, her latest relationship breakup will be marketed, then she'll be bid out to another industry or athlete.

Apparently, her "Kielce" relationship will end on September 28th according to PR leaks.

Bump. They still might have a fake relationship but if so they are still faking it almost a month after the alleged end date.

The date doesn't matter really. She's a hag slut at this point at 34. No kids. No commitment. She's a piece of trash really. Kelce knew what he was getting into if he even listened to a song.

Women "musicians" are trash at this point and that's at least 2 decades running. They don't even sing. Auto tuned to the moon. It's just a T and A show or fat black to shame losers into liking their music that was produced by someone else.

There are a few decent female musicians. Jewel comes to mind. Fiona Apple. They still didn't write their music though. Alanis M. (not spelling) comes to mind as well.

I really couldn't figure out my Mt. Rushmore of female musicians. They, themselves are not that good. Just have good producers.

Video killed the radio/music star. All the greats - Aretha, Patti LaBelle, Chaka Khan, Tina Turner, Etta James, were 3-5's looks-wise, but they had fucking pipes. Now it's all about fappability.

After recording 3 albums, I don't know what is real anymore. 70's after is all bull shit male or female in my world. I'm a live guy and most women can't pull it off, even the chart toppers or perceived good voice singers.

Everything is processed in studio or live for the past 40 years at least. I've done it. I'd play to a click track recording and they could move individual snare hits to the click. They'd toss effects and autotune on the lead singer/guitarist. Hell, music is the first form of AI really if you think about it.

I've never heard a good acoustic, no mic singer, ever. Take the mic and effects away and they generally don't sound good. Voices in my opinion only sound good in unison. Solo good voices are rare, like really rare. Unique voices are tolerable I guess if you like it. But it's still not good. Think Billy Corrigan (sp?) with Smashing Pumpkins. That wasn't a good voice. It was unique to their style. It sounds like a kid whining while playing in a band. Some people like that I guess?

No mic... They have overhead mics so you can hear it. It's processed. 100%.

There are good female singers out there. When I was in my prime, we'd audition singers with torture tests of female vocals. Out of 20 applicants, maybe one would do OK. I agree - live is the acid test, raw vocals. You either got the pipes or you're shit. Fuck them, all they gotta do is fucking sing - they don't have to spend a decade or more of mastering their instruments.

Frankly, voices are largely born, not made. There are the flukes like Sass Jordan or Tina Turner, but women are either born with it (a lot like their SMV) or not. For males, unless you're a tenor or a baritone, then GTFO.

I agree with the born part. You have it or you don't. Males can get away with unique voices. AC/DC. Metallica. Korn. Bob Dylan. At no point is anyone calling them good singers, but they fit the genre.

Women singers are almost exclusively pop. Dime a dozen. They also very much come across whiney when singing. Adele is good. Still processed though on albums. Haven't watched live. I do think Christina Aguilera can sing acoustic without a mic and nail it. But the likes of Brittany Spears or Taylor would embarrass themselves without techs mixing the vocals.
