Dear Patnetters, please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2022, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only "America" in the Western Hemisphere. Also, this wish is made without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishes.

Just watched Bad Santa and bad Santa 2. Highly recommend, if you like raunchy, tasteless movies.

Too early. I get it the meme. But I fucking hate this time of year. Let's plow through Thanksgiving bullshit. Two "major" holidays in the worst time of year is awful. Going to Mexico two times in the next three months to avoid this shit and a Caribbean cruise for spring break.

I despise this time of year after the time change. Thanksgiving, Xmas, New Year, etc. is all bull shit. Sorry. Angry.

I really can't stand this time of year. At least knocked out the big family xmas party on Saturday early. For once in my marriage it will just be my wife and I and the nephews mom will be there on xmas day. Usually we'd all get together at one persons house after opening.

I'm an isolationist. Probably because I only have one sister. And we stopped doing holidays with any of my uncles and cousins getting together around age 7. It would just be me, my sister and parents at Thanksgiving and xmas.

Then there's new years where fat people lose 5-10lbs and cancel the gym membership by February and gain back 20lbs by March.

I also don't want anything from anyone gift wise. I'll buy what I want when I want it. You send people a list with the exact product and they still fuck it up. They try and save money and get a better deal on a similar item. Now I then have to drive 30 minutes to return it.

I'm not religious either so it's all just annoying overall. Everything is closed xmas day. It's night out all the time. Don't get me started on xmas music either. Then any of the jock family members want to watch basketball or football depend on the year knowing most the players got f'd up the night before and play awful. And yes I was a jock, but I'm convinced everything is fixed now, but that's a different post/topic.

Rant over. Kind of. Forgot about last night. Nephews birthday. Baby daddy's mom (grandma) of my nephew wants to get together for xmas (has 8 grandkids with 6 daughter in laws...). My SIL tells him this and he starts crying at 13. He hates his dad and their family that much to fuck up what should have been a great night. 7th grader getting move up to 8th grade team on basketball going into tournament season. Should have been a great night for him.

Sorry, I'll Scrooge ya later.

So my kids are old enough to know Santa and all that is bull shit. So when the wife is traveling I get to do this. Yes we still do the elf on the shelf with basically all teenagers now. Wife won't be happy with this one but whatever. She's not on patnet.
