Ya know I never saw the movie. But have to say, it's quite a pretty house.
I do know the house has changed hands numerous times since the movie. Actually, one of those times (quite a long time ago) I recall the ads actually featuring it's sordid history - they attempted to use it as a selling feature and was asking twice as much as others in the neighborhood! Guess since Wes Craven or Stephen King weren't interested, that marketing plan didn't go very well. I wonder what brain surgeon came up with that idea.
They have changed the street number of the home, so maybe they are trying to down play it now. Have no idea if it's a fair price or not, but my guess it's priced pretty high.

Forgot to mention: if you want to see a true horror around this area, just check out the Amityville school district. It's has an atrocious reputation!
Who in their right mind would buy this nightmare inducing house. It's been how many years and I still have vivid images in my head. Ugh!
