They seem to have the best rates and lowest costs. But I'm wary cause I've never heard of they. Yelp has a sudden surge of reviews done in the last day or 2 which is kind of weird.

I hope you didn't go through a re-fi with these crooks. I have stellar credit, tons of cash and equity.

After paying $675 for an appraisal they turned me down because I didn't have enough creditors (car loan, credit cards etc.). The truth is rates had risen since they locked me in so their underwriter didn't want to honor the loan.

So I'm out the $675. Just read the tons of reviews that are out there. Be careful though, they use companies like Reputation Defender to plant positive reviews. You can tell which ones are the fake reviews cause they just sound too good to be true.

i hear they are OK for refinancing (best rates - although sometimes Wells Fargo - what i finally went with - can give you the same rates, just need to call them, don't rely on their online rates). i think you are only concerned about online brokers such as this when you are buying (and would be concerned about them missing the deadline, causing you to lose your deposit). but with refinancing, the most you can lose is appraisal fee? maybe it's worth the risk?

i didn't use them because i was buying and i thought their customer service was horrible.

I hate Amerisave with a passion.

Their appraiser came up with a 20 year old plumbing permit (on a detached garage) that never had final inspection. (Even the county was surprised this guy found it) Amerisave denied our app because we wouldn't rip out the sheetrock, concrete patio , and pay an architect to draft new plans, just so the county could come inspect it 20 years after the fact.

Our credit is 800, plenty of income, their people were just being dickish about the whole thing.

We went through http://www.supremelending.com/ and couldn't be happier with the service and rates.

a lot of good reviews over on the Bogelheads.org website, and they are really smart people over there, unlike here, so I personally take their advice.
