I should have expressed myself differently. I meant to say, The next SEVERAL GENERATIONS will NOT enjoy the benefits of real property appreciation. A growing portion of society will become more transient & unstable.
Yes, Capitalism is as harsh as mother nature itself. Only the strong survive. Our gubmint has recently eliminated the RISK portion of that free market concept, at least for the financial sectors. In doing so it has placed that burden on taxpayers.
Isn't this Socialism ? Tried & failed in many times & places.
We can't save the universe and everything in it. In order to get reelected the present gubmint will have you believe otherwise.
Shouldn't we change our beauty contest type elections so they must all submit to random lie detector testing ?

We must continue to provide medical benefits to the Human race. And we must protect the remaining endangered Flora & Fauna. May we ever finish saving the middle east, Africa and Asia from themselves. Some want an established colony on the moon in a few years, And we cannot do any of the above if we do not reduce pollution and save the fragile environment. Greece is scheduled to default late March 2012 possibly changing most financial systems around the world.
All I want, is to make sure my Grandchildren can provide a roof over their head and food to stay healthy.
Does ANY modern ideology believe that our gubmint is motivated by anything other than reelection or big money ?
Why doesn't our leader just say " You spent too much on real estate. Deal with it " ?
How many future generations will suffer due to PRETENTIOUS DENIAL ?
