This is a nice 4/2 with nice front patio and well finished backyard. Rooms are a little tight since four bedrooms are built in to ~1600 sqft. Sellers seem to have maintained the home, yard very well. Has a nice vaulted ceiling as you enter. Small family area/dining off the kitchen. Kitchen needed updates as the appliances were old. Backyard was very nice with space for children to play. Backyard seems a bit smaller than you'd guess based on the lot size as the brick-paved front yard takes a bit of space. This is located in a silent and nice neighborhood with a good view of the hills, a few miles from Cottle station. The house is close to a high API elementary school.

This was one of the nicer homes in the sub-550k range that I've seen. There are apparently a few foreclosures (per redfin, verify for yourselves) in the area.

Overheard at the OH: "This is the best area in Blossom Valley. Sellers are leaving for their vacation on Tuesday and won't look at offers after that. The market is changing as we speak and there are multiple bids on any house and houses are going above asking (subtext for newbies on p.net: buy now by bidding well over list or be priced out for ever)".

I won't be surprised to see this go pending quickly and come out at the other end much higher. However, if that doesn't happen, there may still be some hope for the bay area.

There are 9 counties in the Bay Area and a lot more markets than that. Silicon Valley prices are among the highest and least sane of anywhere in California.
