I've stayed at 4 star hotels in mainland China where sex was one of the room service menu items. I think that's pretty standard in the nicer business hotels.
I was alone in the nicest hotel in Qingdao, our group broke up and I was supposed to meet some govt. guys.
I rode up the elevator that evening since I was bored and scared to get lost outside walking too far. I stopped at the bar on the 3rd floor.
A bunch of cute ladies with the same sexy QiPao dress were across the room with name tags, I think there were about 9 or so.
They seemed to be staring at me.
"Do they want me to invite them to have a drink with me?" Waiter: "No sir, you can pick one and take her to your room with you."
Waiter: "I apologize there are only this many, it's a holiday in China now." (May 1)
Hookers get May Day off in China?
Of course. They are members of the Proletariat aren't they?

Latest National Geographic had an article about Hong Kong. It featured a prostitute who charged $60 for 40 min of her services, and in a matter of a few years she had saved up $100k. She invested her inarguably hard-earned money in real estate! Peak sign?
