Greenwald: "The most revealing fact of the Obama presidency is the lack of a single prosecution of Wall Street execs for the massive fraud that caused the 2008 crisis. As long as we maintain impunity, no rational person should expect anything other than pervasive elite corruption and lawbreaking."

That's just it. The far-right accuses Obama of being "socialist" but there hasn't even been a restoration of the "rule of law" in the financial sector.

What fraud ? which regulations were violated that could cause a criminal case of fraud... surely since these numbskull journalists can call it fraud, they should be able to list line by line what criminal acts were committed and what SEC or Bank regulations were violated.

Is this the only reason he came up to justify why his Manhattan home stopped appreciation 20% a year and started to decline ..

Is that the case of fraud his talking about ?

Perhaps you should read Predator Nation. It lays all this out in great detail fully documented. Of course you wouldn't actually do that. It's easier to just spout nonsense.

Fuck Journalist! What do journalist know about regulations anyway ?

Show some real criminal violations if you want to talk about fraud !

Quod est demonstratum. As I said it's easier to spout nonsense than address the issue. Detail where Predator Nation is incorrect. I will be long dead before that happens.

As if any other president would have prosecuted them. This country is owned and operated by the banks and major corporations. Democrat, Republican...as long as you're electing people from those parties to the Senate, House, and President, you'll be forever maintaining the status quo.

Obama is just another politician full of ****. Wall street is doing fine, they are on federal welfare now with low rates and fed constantly buying up their worthless paper with taxpayers dollars.

The only once suffering now are the working class and the poor who are squeezed and marginalized by policies of this administration.

So as a self acknowledged expert in Banking/Finance/Econ please feel free to educate us on all the places where he is wrong in his book. I haven't read of anyone discrediting it. Be the first.

You misunderstand the question. I was requesting that that you mr wong use your extensive finance experience to point out exactly where predator nation is incorrect. Surely someone of your immense stature in the field (after all everyone in finance/banking/econ stands in awe of the huge body of writings of thomas.wong1986, a pulitzer or perhaps a nobel prize must certainly in the offing) could dissect the errors in the book and report back to us.

AF said: It's chockablock with Goldman scum and that censored idiot censored Geithner was schooled in apocalyptic finance by king censored Larry Summers.
In all fairness, according to PBS Frontline, Larry Summers wanted to take on and break up at least one of the “too big to fail’ banks.... It would have been a bold step for Obama, but Tim Geithner warned the president against it. He wasn’t going to participate in what he called “Old Testament justice.”.
