I think 90% of those who SUPPORT Obamacare would rather a single payer system (I think that's what you mean by "pure socialized medicine"). 90% of those who oppose axiomatically assume anything a Democrat did must be bad, so the actual content of Obamacare is beside the point.

Said recipients can't go else were because they are monopoly remember. Other insurance companies are illegal operations. All they can do is stand there and take it, much like the Obama care mandate. Except "0" choice and no chance of there ever being one.

Where as with socialized medicine you can always supplement your care with what every insurance policy you want.
