So KarlRove, this guy supports your gun control positions.
Congrats.

Is this guy an idealist or just someone demanding integrity?

KarlRoveIsScum says

He is obviously an idealist and certainly should not have been a Cop.

Did you read every page?

You can twist anything into a pretzel, I go on feeling.

He is very idealistic. Perhaps misguided and delusional to think he could be a catalyst for change.

I have watched dozens of fantastic 20 something cops quit for less.

He should also know there is no excuse for ending anybody s life here in the physical world.

He is also quite delusional. The racism doesn't occur as he states in the manifesto. It did at a point in the past. But that past is long gone. The few alleged racist incidents I'm aware of over the past 10 years are so were soley in the mind of the accuser. The changes were in motion from the moment Kevin Gaines decided to pull a gun on Frank Lyga. It took some time, but LAPD at the moment is a vastly different and more effective organization than it was at the end of the last century.

Truth is LAPD was at 40% caucasian male about 5 years ago. At this point, I'd think its less than a third. People of all ethnic backgrounds fill LAPD at all positions(including two past African American Chiefs).

The bottom line is Dorner, as stated by physchiatric professionals, is a delusional mentally ill individual. Giving creedence to his writtings is just as delusional.

Any credibility this guy may have garnered was erased the moment he slaughtered two innocent civilians simply because one was the daughter of someone he considered his enemy.
Going after someone's kids to hurt them is a textbook VILLIAN move, and represents the most heinous of selfishly evil acts.
I could almost buy some of his complaints, but I can't condone his methods. Nobody was putting his life in danger. He chose to escalate things to the mortal level. Which makes his rantings totally suspect and not at all trustworthy.

This applies equally to the United States of America.

This is very sad. Assuming that everything he says is a true account of what happened, he really got screwed by the LAPD. However, and I'm no lawyer, I don't think that royally screwing someone over is a capital offense.

Regardless, I hope that this situation won't be swept under the rug after this guy is found. The culture of the LAPD has a long history of problems respecting the civil rights of others.

Clearly this man is responding to his problems in an unacceptable way. But institutional bullying through improper use of employee review procedures is becoming a major problem. And it isn't limited to LAPD. For example, hospitals have used similar methods (sham peer reviews) to rid themselves of certain competing physicians.... or people they don't like for whatever reason. Universities are another example.

Using supposed formalized methods to destroy people's careers -- for nefarious purposes -- is bound to push some beyond their limits. And this situation, assuming his manifesto is an accurate account, is a very sad example.

As they say... Never f*** a person with less to lose than you.

OTOH killing someone's FAMILY because you have a beef with them?

His "justice" is no such thing.

8   Indiana Jones   2013 Feb 13, 2:23am

A seriously misguided modern day vigilante...looks like he's dead. I hope all the deaths were not in vain, and that whatever changes need to occur, will happen so that others will not feel compelled to do the same.
