The season seems to have arrived early in some places where homebuying is already frenzied, and in many markets, the pendulum has swung from an excess of homes on the market a few years ago to a shortage.

Also, if their lives are changed so much keeping up with listings, what is the agent doing? If I was paying someone to be my real estate agent, I would expect them to be the expert and get all that together without me lifting a finger. What else are they doing? Making cookies?
