Aaaaah Diamond. That was my first "real" engineering job where I worked as an intern. Back then it was just Diamond Nuts and the newly launched Emerald Nuts product line. My claim to fame there was designing the roasting line for the candied walnuts for McDonalds' new (at the time) Fruit and Walnut Salad. Food manufacturing was very interesting, not something that I wanted to do forever, but it was interesting to see how stuff goes before it hits grocery store shelves.
Just sold @ $20.96. Nice little ride
Congrats. That's a stellar return for 1.5 months.
Let us know if you settle on a couple of stocks. Thanks again SFace.
This is a stock that is being accumulated quietly. It's been on my radar as a San Francisco company and the accounting scandal that was strightened out last year. They own the Pop Secret, Emerald snacks, Diamond nuts and Kettle chips brand you see at Safeway/Costco/Walmart. Lots of debt fueled by acquisitions and nut growers leaving Diamond for good reasons, but the brands have value and there looks like "outs" to fix the debt situation. They'll eventually get growers back on their side as farmers just want to sell all their inventory to a known buyer. One time charges killed cash flow last year.

It kinda reminds me of Green Mountain Coffee Roaster ("GMCR") when it went into the 20's. so I place a small bet on it. Sold JCP before earnings. I'll need to see JCP turn it around now.
