Is there a reason no other building can be with a 1/4 mile of a Wafflehouse, and they must be near an Interstate on ramp?
I heard they returned the $50 she was charging the dead guy to his estate, less the cost of the bullet.
That's what I call really considerate people.
Wow - Florida sounds like the setting for next summer's blockbuster: this couple, and this couple, and Trayvon Martin, all rolled into a geriatric sequel to Natural Born Killers. Matinee only so you can catch the earlybird dinner, bring the grandkids.
I doubt he would have been acquitted if the victim was an off-duty police officer. Nice to know the courts treat all human life equally.

This 70ish guy comes home, finds his wife in bed with another man (32 years old - they don't say how old wifey is but she appears younger than the husband), and thinks she's being raped so he shoots the guy dead. He has been acquitted of murder.
Here's the kicker, after the trial, they interview the wife who says:
"His wife Johnna Lynn Flores told reporters Wald has forgiven her and the two plan to celebrate his acquittal at Waffle House.
"Because my husband puts me first, he's taking me to the Waffle House," Flores said, according to Tampa Bay Times."
