We should have an ill-informed debate, with lots of back and forth about whether it's the kids these days, or maybe some ethnic group causing this, or maybe the Fed.
I am more than willing to come up with some statistics and facts that, while technically correct make some single-cause assumptions which are, at best, debatable.
Also: anecdotal horror stories should be used, and given equal weight with large-sample statistics.
And the following background assumption should be held as axiomatic in the debate: things are getting worse, and they were better when we were younger, because we never took shortcuts or drugs when we were kids.
