New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said Wednesday he is “outraged” by newly released documents linking a senior member of his staff to the closure of lanes on a major bridge in September — shutdowns that caused massive traffic jams and sparked allegations that the closures were the result of political retribution. The Republican, a likely 2016 presidential candidate, denied personal knowledge of any plans to close the lanes and vowed that “people will be held responsible for their actions.

I posted pages and pages of evidence. Lots of people find Christie's story dubious,

Lot's of people find Christies story dubious is evidence of what? Do you have any clue what the word evidence means? Obviously not.

You said it was done by the port authority. You're anything but clear.

What's not clear. The port authority controls the GW bridge. The port authority workers blocked the lanes. What part don't you understand about that? Did you somehow envision Christies staffers out there with orange cones?

Do you have any idea what the port authority is or what they do? Do some research. Christie doesn't have the authority to order the PA to do anything. He gets to appoint half the PA commissioners (the governor of NY appoints the other half) and can veto his commissioners actions but that's it. So just like every news report has said, Christie staffer Kellly asked Wildstein at the PA to block lanes from Ft. Lee onto the bridge and he had it done.

Well that leaves out every president since Truman.

Oh, I see. What Christie did was o.k. in your mind because you don't expect any better. Nice.

I don't now what Christie did and neither do you or anyone else at this point. You believe he did something wrong because he didn't take action in the way you believe he should have. That's certainly an iron clad case. At least as conclusive as Bgmal's "evidence" of various conspiracies. This expectation of what should have been done is based on your extensive experience holding a high level public office I assume.
