What was that in context to?
I never listen to Howard every since he was delusional enough to think that I would incur a monthly service charge to listen to the radio to hear his shit.
This quote is so out of context, and out of date it's crazy.
He said this about the attempts of the Anti-Trade commission to block the merger of Sirius and XM in 2008.
I think most of the committee was Democrats, and they couldn't understand that Satellite Radio is not in competition with itself, but in competition with all other forms of media (downloaded, personal, terrestrial radio, TV, etc. ).
He also said that they allowed Cell companies, cable companies, banks and etc. to merge without any hesitation even though it specifically reduced competition in those arenas.
Meaning, everyone needs to bank, buy internet, and use a cell phone, but in the case of satellite radio, if it became too expensive, nobody "HAS" to have it. They can consume other forms of media they feel is priced competitive.

If it's on a meme it's out of context.

So this is no longer true?

Howard Stern is my touch stone for most everything.
For everything else I have to ask Ted Nugent.
I thought it was Elizabeth Warren?
Doesn't this belong in the "Why are farts funny" thread, since Stern is FartMan?
