Global warming has more escape clauses than the 1% tax bracket.

Besides you need to keep your facts straight.
It's Climate Change, the final Global Warming escape clause.

When this years facts debunks last years study, then just say.
"Well it was sunny yesterday, but it's raining today. It's climate change you see!"

Get the fuck out of here with that shit already.

I bet this will be as silly as the topic of the "Pet Rock" in the 70's and Ozone and Acid rain threat of the 80's.

Here is 30 to 40 years later, and I'm still waiting for the ice age, and the acid rain that will pick my bones clean, if I were caught out in it.

It sold a bunch of nice bumper stickers and T-Shirts, but there was no real threat.

Global warming the stakes are higher, they don't just want folks being mesmerized by flashy bumper stickers and window decals paying $15 a pop. They want to squeeze thousands a year from every man woman and child in the world for this fabricated crisis.

Can I just opt out and by the "Inconvenient Truth"? I mean that money has got to be going to someone in over there in the Global Warming marketing outfit right?

You guys ruined the weather, just like you do everything, just like you did with smoking, checking out hot chicks, drinking, eating, fuck even Soccer.

You Bastards managed to turn Soccer into something no self respecting Redneck would dare watch on his OLED curved Samsung 70 inch television.

Stop arguing with these folks. Let's wait 50 years and sell em' some coastal Florida real estate at a premium....

Mars Melt Hints at Solar, Not Human, Cause for Warming, Scientist Says

Mars, too, appears to be enjoying more mild and balmy temperatures.

In 2005 data from NASA's Mars Global Surveyor and Odyssey missions revealed that the carbon dioxide "ice caps" near Mars's south pole had been diminishing for three summers in a row.

Habibullo Abdussamatov, head of space research at St. Petersburg's Pulkovo Astronomical Observatory in Russia, says the Mars data is evidence that the current global warming on Earth is being caused by changes in the sun.

"The long-term increase in solar irradiance is heating both Earth and Mars," he said.

Abdussamatov believes that changes in the sun's heat output can account for almost all the climate changes we see on both planets.

Mars and Earth, for instance, have experienced periodic ice ages throughout their histories.

"Man-made greenhouse warming has made a small contribution to the warming seen on Earth in recent years, but it cannot compete with the increase in solar irradiance," Abdussamatov said.

By studying fluctuations in the warmth of the sun, Abdussamatov believes he can see a pattern that fits with the ups and downs in climate we see on Earth and Mars.

That's not science!!!! I dunno why not but it's just not!!!! NOT SCIENCE!

Global warming is definitely happening. But this fact should be in no way construed to give license to impose punitive energy taxes on the people. Or any other sweeping social change. Technology changes are okay, more efficient lighting, heating, transportation, etc. But we really don't need to feed the fucking lawyers!

There is something we can do about it, and eventually someone will. Really, any nation could. Just build a system for injecting sulfur dioxide into the stratosphere. There are already several designs out there. Estimations of about 6-8 coal burning power plants worth of SO2 should do the trick and cool us down.

Problem is, no lawyers get paid, no politicians build careers as international diplomats, and no "carbon credits" get sold. Therefore this will remain a last option until things get really bad.

Bingo we have a winner, use Calif as an example of this.
