Yup, but what caused it?

The theory I espouse to is that solar flares cause greater ion activity which in turn effects the Earth's atmosphere, as it does Mar's atmosphere. This is the premise of the Farmers Almanac.

A few decades ago these same mutts were predicting a mini ice age.

There's no Damn way that Scientist have enough meaningful historical data for all of those data points. Global Warming is truism built around around wild observational speculation.

The ones presenting their findings are already considered the utmost authority on the subject.
Who are the other's to question their authority. They did studies and ran tests for God sakes.

Yes Folks the experiment doesn't work on a small scale to reproduce the Climatologist's claim of Greenhouse effect.

http://www.weatherquestions.com/Why_the_greenhouse_effect_in_a_jar_experiment_does_not_work.htm

Why the Greenhouse Effect in a Jar Experiment Cannot Work
There are a number of education-related science experiment web pages claiming that a simple classroom experiment can demonstrate the physics of the Earth's "greenhouse effect". This is simply not true.

On the tiny scale of a jar (even a jar ten feet tall), the infrared absorption effects of carbon dioxide are too weak to be measured using just a thermometer. This is true even if the jar is filled with pure carbon dioxide. There are other reasons why the experiment won't work, but this is the main one.

Now, if you heat an enclosed jar with a lamp, the thermometer inside the jar will indeed heat up relative to the air outside the jar, but this is because the air inside the jar is trapped and cannot mix with cooler, surrounding air. But this has nothing to do with the Earth's "greenhouse effect", however. (Yes, it DOES describe why a plant greenhouse is warmer inside, though.)

Even a more sophisticated experiment where two identical jars, one with regular air, and one with pure CO2, like that shown in Al Gore's and Bill Nye's Climate 101 video, cannot work because the total amount of carbon dioxide is far too small. It appears that the video actually faked the results of that experiment in post-production.

By far the best demonstration of the greenhouse effect is with a handheld IR thermometer pointed at the sky in different directions, in dry versus humid conditions, and at clouds. The greenhouse effect operates by downward infrared emission from the sky warming the surface, which is exactly what happens inside a handheld IR thermometer when it is pointed at the sky.

Yup the good ole turkey fryer infered thermometer.

Pointed up to the sky that's all you need.

Meanwhile, Alaska had to divert a bunch of travel today, due to a walrus problem. No ice left for the poor guys in their area.

But that is only isolated instance, and not proof of a systemic trend. The Earth goes through warming and cooling trends, yaddah yadaddah yaddah ...

... I am the walrus, coo coo ka choo.

YOu know what they call the biggest Walrus mother fucker on the beach?

The Beach master!

Walruses have been sunbathing on beaches for as long as Walruses have been Walruses.

Again another example of Liberals taking a shot out of context and making it fit their narrative. I've been watching documentaries on Walruses since Mutual of Watchamacallit Kingdom, and have never once seen one, where thousands of walruses weren't on a single beach. It's a fucking Walrus madhouse!

Quit, quit, quit, you know facts just confuse them. Now, get in step with the libs - we cause the earth to warm, we will stop it from warming. There now open your wallet and you'll feel so much better (that $50 bill looks good, hand it over, we'll call it a carbon tax).

A little more about those walruses ...

"Biggest Walrus Gathering Recorded ..."
http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2014/10/141002-walruses-climate-change-science-global-warming-animals-alaska/

"It's hardly the first big walrus gathering to be documented, a fact noted by climate change skeptics. But scientists say the size of the gatherings are growing as climate change melts Arctic sea ice, depriving walruses of their sunning platforms of choice."

"Scientists have seen large haul-outs on the Russian side of the Bering Strait for quite some time, says Anthony Fischbach, a wildlife biologist at the USGS in Anchorage. But since the first recordings of walrus gatherings in Alaska in the 1870s, groups of this size weren't observed until 2007, he said."

So this hasn't happened since 1870's since a big ass group of Walruses so fucking impressive, that Scientist over hundred years ago would risk fortunes and stake reputations on making precarious voyages to the wilds of the Arctic frigid cold to observe them themselves.

And Yesterday it was Polar bears losing their ice. Look this is supposed to be one crisis, you don't get the toofer or threefer, this isn't a goddamned BOGO. This is Global Warming remember?
You'd expect the ice to melt. Walrus is just going to be a Walrus no matter what, and Polar bears will want to eat them. They'll just move their show to the land, they are mammals after all, and that's, well that's just what they do.

You say it's long term global warming, which would say it should get worse every year.
Not one year it's bad then the next it's meh or not particularly out of the norm at all.
I say it's weather patterns, and this is their bad back to back hurricane seasons like the gulf had for a few years in the first part of last decade. Only it's bad summer ice flows, instead of tropical storms wrecking their shit.

Ten years from now if the walruses and the Polar bears losing ice isn't problem anymore then this whole shit will be exposed as just a big hoax. My guess is it won't even take ten years.

Now how 'bout that heat?

BTW there's been reports that hundreds of them are dead, from stampedes caused by the Helicopters flying overhead and spooking them. That's hundreds of Walruses that weren't killed by Global Warming, but by Scientist out observing Walruses in the wild in their natural habitat.

'Cept fucking Walruses, don't have Hipsters hovering over them, darting them, and poking and tagging them, and scaring the living shit out of them, they bop themselves to death trying to run away. In the Wild.
