I'd like to know as well. Anyone else would be better. Probably has to do with the stupid false dichotomy of dems vs repubs, the partisan hackery and cheerleading. Not to mention the insider trading. But hey - yay democrats! ;)

That's probably the only reason. John Dennis is supposedly a pretty neat guy who is also socially liberal. Hope someday San Franciscans will wake up.

Not the biggest fan of Dennis (because he went the "no crimes were committed" route wrt the 2008 crisis) but the alternatives are worse.
