Seems that once Russia makes deals with the west and does what we want they will get their economy back by letting oil go back up as a reward to them and the rest of the oil producers!
Just wondering what the deals might be..... any thoughts here ?

Opec has no reason for it. They have a couple of man made cookie cutter shaped islands(because they have enough money so they can!) more tallest buildings than you could shake a yard stick at, gold plated Rolls Royces they use for out houses. I mean how much more money do you need when your citizens are haivng a starvation uprising, that the west is confusing with seeds of Democracy?

WTF are you talking about? There aren't any starvation uprising in the real oil producing countries of the middle east. The uprisings are in the minor players where people are fighting over the scraps. Syria accounts for .48% of the worlds oil production, Egypt .8% neither are in opec. Lybia is in opec but only produces .85%. Saudi produces 13%, Iran 5%, Uae 4% and no one is starving or uprising.

I know you can't grasp these kinds of concepts, but the Uae is making a serious return on investment with their tall buildings and cookie cutter shaped islands. Along with hundreds of huge industial parks, lots of new roads, and new ports. I spent last summer (hint, don't go to Uae in the summer if you can avoid it. Think really, really frigging hot) working in Uae and was totally impressed. They have invested tons of money and are getting tons of returns from it. They are getting multi billion dollar construction projects around the world totally under the radar of the western press. Dubai is a huge financial center that is cleaning wall street and london's clock in the brics and third world. Uae banks are doing huge business offering services that meet the strictures of Islam to muslims (individuals and businesses) around the world without western banks even being aware such a thing exists. Being on the ground, living local, and seeing what is going on over there is just amazing.

I know you can't grasp these concepts, but building the worlds tallest skyscraper as in the Burj Khalifa in Dubai is generally a sign of malinvestment. I would wager that the UAE is in a slump or about to be in one and will not get a return on their investments.

No. The price of oil has nothing to do with Russia.

You are saying that oil will hit $15 a barrel? Wow that must mean a bad world wide recession.

Qatar is set to host the Football World Cup in 2022 — and by that time, at least 4,000 migrant workers will have died to make the city ready.

Since 2012, roughly 900 workers have already been killed working on infrastructure for the World Cup, astronomically more than have died in any construction project in recent history.

It's easy to see why. Workers describe forced labor in 50C (122F) heat, employers who steal their salaries and passports, and being shuttled like cattle in overcrowded, unsanitary conditions without access to water or food.

And throughout these rampant abuses, FIFA has been silent as the grave.

It's time for the organizer to take a stand. Join us in calling on FIFA to send a clear message to Qatar: We will not allow the 2022 World Cup to be built on the backs of dying slaves.

Slaves of Do-buy

For months, the BBC’s Ben Anderson hung out around the glittering, insane towers springing up in Dubai trying to infiltrate the community of expatriate workers who are putting them up. What he found when he finally got in was that the jewel of the Arab world is almost entirely built upon imported slave labor.

Russia is not going to capitulate to US bullying. It's not Saddam or Ghaddafyi, fat lot capitulating did for either, especially the latter.

Here's why:

Lbertarian wet dream. The Burg Kalifa is well past occupancy rate to be profitable. But don't let actual numbers or facts disturb believing it's true because you believe it should be true. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/8438416.stm It was profitable in 2010. Most of the projects on hold at the time of the article have gone ahead now and are doing just fine. Business is literally booming. http://www.thenational.ae/business/property/second-quarter-profit-at-dubai-developer-emaar-up-29-to-dh868m Businesses in the emerits are doing huge contracts all around the world. Maybe you should travel farther than your state fair and see how things are in the real world not in the liberatarian internet world. Odd that a libertarian is betting against a country with no taxes and very little regulation that is one of the largest targets of private investment in the world. You do know the emaar properties (developer of the Burgh Kalifa) is a publicly traded 4 billion dollar corporation doing large projects in 35 countries don't you? It's private, not government.

It is likely a harbinger of the end of the boom.

We will work from the back. Instead of conquering Russia and installing a puppet, we will engineer a regime change, and then conquer Russia without firing a shot. It will be the second time. :)

That is the plan for sure, but I don't believe it will work. Putin arrests oligarchs while the Rockefellers are left alone.

Just a matter of time my dear skeptical friend. Just a matter of time.
We always win.

That's the biggest load of crap I've seen since my 1 year old took a dump in my mother in laws mini van. If you have so much faith in it then short the UAE stock market and report back jow it works out. In other words put your money where your mouth is.
