They need to establish a new mental disorder called "Gimme my Government Check".
Libs think that normal day to day anxiety and work avoidance qualify for benefits, whereas florid psychosis is normal, desirable or inspired.
Gimme my Government Check".
Already exists, except it's called "depression", which is apparently now an excuse not to work.
To be determined to be suffering a disabling mood disorder, a person must exhibit a combination of factors, including such things as “appetite disturbance with change in weight; or sleep disturbance; or psychomotor agitation or retardation; or decreased energy; or feelings of guilt or worthlessness; or difficulty concentrating or thinking; or thoughts of suicide; or hallucinations, delusions, or paranoid thinking.”
This describes the typical Californian.
That's like a list of donor states, plus those with the lowest divorce and teen pregnancy rates.
Maybe they're depressed at having to pay for the military bases, road construction, farm subsidies and other welfare projects in the red states?

Sounds like a surgeon generals warning of the side effects of eating the Standard American Diet. Thanks, food pyramid!
I once dated a chick from Louisiana who was getting SSI bennies due to a mental disorder. Sure she was neurotic but not unlike many women I've dated. She definitely should have been working the past 17 years but still isn't.
A few years back she moved to Oregon and lives there with her boyfriend. She tried to claim my California address to, "get more money", which I promptly terminated.
So maybe the head cases move from red to blue?
The best prescription is to Take away their benefits and watch them get instantly cured...
This describes the typical Patnet Californian posters here.
There, fixed it for you!
Thanks, so kind of you. It's all the taxes we pay that drives us crazy.

I don't think is caused by the taxes...

Blue States lead the nation in mental disorders
Not if you count the mental disorder that is faith in a god. A delusion, no matter how socially accepted, is still a delusion and by definition a mental disorder.
In the Red States if you want to run naked through the brambles shrieking JESUS LOVES YOU while raping a racoon, well that's just what a Good Ole Boy calls Saturday Night.
Really, who rapes racoons when you can rape an alligator! Only a wimp.
Jesus bless the alligator rapers!

You forgot to add a banjo being played in the background.

Did we run out of sheep?
At the present, there is almost as much oversight of the disability benefits program as a cash box by an unattended roadside vegetable stand with a sign stating "pay here."
