Israel is getting very fucked up. Inequality rankings, it's US, Israel and Turkey in the bottom half of the Gini Coefficient. Israel used to be one of the most equal.
Hasidim are like the mafia, they don't work, but pool their money, whoever kisses the leadership gets the new car. They build apartment complexes, bribe left and right to get permits, and charge sky-high rents. The first Israeli protests that had to be broken up by tear gas that had nothing to do with Arabs happened a year or so ago. Most intelligent Israelis can't wait to leave, or have done so already - there are almost as many Israelis outside Israel than in it. Leaving only the Hasidic Welfare Hos.

First, it seems patently obvious that Netanyahu was indeed trying to shore up his flagging polls by his stop in the US. The American Right are pawns once again.
