This is a common problem when dealing with real terrorism, like the mass stabbings that were perpetrated by Uighurs.

Obviously not all Uighurs did it, and the ones that didn't have anything to do with it are innocent. How many Uighurs are in those camps and why are they there?

Similar things happened to the Irish. A lot of Irish in Northern Ireland suffered for things they never did and would never do. Yet there was a significant fraction of the population that supported bombings, for example.

What's the best answer when the supporters and helpers are hidden among a population? I don't know. Maybe address the root cause. Pretty hard if the root cause is Islam itself, but in the case of ireland, the root cause is systematic oppression. And some of that oppression was because of terrorism, making the whole thing kind of recursive.

The native Irish nobility fled to the continent, and the rest of the Irish were impoverished by lack of land and had no way to escape their poverty. They were systematically excluded from all positions of power, higher education, and all of the professional occupations because they were Catholic and spoke Irish instead of English.

They were forced to be tenant farmers for the English and had only small plots of land to grow food for themselves. Then the potato blight came in the 1840's, about a million Irish starved to death while Ireland continued to export large quantities of food, particularly beef, to England. Another million emigrated to America, among them my paternal ancestors.

Even after the independence of the Republic of Ireland, the Irish in Northern Ireland were still excluded from jobs and education, and I believe to this day it is forbidden for them to speak Irish in court. You can get a translator in a Northern Irish court for, say, Spanish, but not for Irish.

I found several official records of people with my own last name, maybe ancestors of mine, who had their land taken from them in 1641. The land was given to English nobility.

Why is it that the suffering of Jewish always kept in the forefront? Is the suffering of other peoples not bad enough? Because it's a billion dollar industry and a sure way of smearing people to cancel them. Real jew hating antisemitism hardly exists these days, but it's true that jews like segregating themselves and keep the tradition to care for their own mostly. Hence they are not loved by many, but real race/culture based antisemitism is rare. Case in point was that post by a Jewish dad who didn't want his daughter to date a black guy. Statistically speaking there's nothing wrong with that and it may actually be a prudent position, and if a non Jewish white person would have penned this they would have been canceled on the spot. But since he was Jewish, it was filed under "they think they're the chosen people" and didn't cause a bigger outcry. There are reasons for Jews to dislike blacks and vice versa. Still in this case Ye loses as antisemitic "racism" is still higher than general racism on the faux pas ladder.
