Ok, I'm not of Russian descent but I fit the model of the Egghead native (as oppose to emigre) but one who was forced into a financial career because I didn't want to die a poor postdoc for academia. Still, I dislike business and would rather be born a Rockefeller or Vanderbilt and do my own thing.
