uhhh, have you seen the video ? The cops lied about him lunging at them. Even you should acknowledge that this is police incompetence in the extreme.
The cops wanted to prevent the video from coming out for a long time. When it did come out, the cop was indicted for murder.

Do you have any idea how stupid this sounds ? Being disturbed by his being shot, when no cops lives were threatened, doesn't have anything to do with any judgement Obama was or was not making aobut McDonalds behavior.

For one thing he is, and has commented on it numerous times in the past.
But complaining about murder committed by police officers, is sort of a different subject than murders committed by criminals that will be prosecuted by the full extent of the law or by criminals that have not been apprehended yet, don't you think ?

Or do you prefer he walks into some school and stab a bunch of kids until eventually PD arrives? Yeah Marcus, that kid had it coming. Anyone who goes out there looking for trouble, threatening others with a knife, should be shot.

No, it was a cop. It was a cop. That's the problem. And you're right, it is the SOS. And it's usually not caught on camera. More frequently these days, thankfully.
If a whole group of cops can't figure out how to arrest a guy with a knife without shooting him dead, that's a police competence problem. Especially since several shots were fired into the kid after he fell to the ground. IT's also murder and the cop need to do time for this.
Has anyone here read the police report or interviewed witnesses or police involved in the incident?
The twelve jurors will decide his fate & probably don't care about what fact less idiots think.
Of course some already know the full transcript of the trial.

The cop deserves to be charged in that instance as there was no immediate reason for which they had to shoot that guy repeatedly, esp. terminating him while he was on the ground. Cops have to follow the law as well. However turning this into a racial case is utter leftoid bullshit, and Obummer as usual is going for the low hanging fruit and should be ashamed of his race-baiting and hypocrisy.

Certainly the video shows some clear facts. For example the distance the kid was from all police when shot, and the fact that shots were fired after he was already down from being shot. Those are the facts I'm reacting to. But you are right. The jury will make it's own decision, based a lot of what the police say, but very much on the video as well. The video is the reason behind the shooter being indicted which would not have happened otherwise.
IT should be interesting, because a report already exists that is public knowledge, saying the kid pierced cops tires with his knife and that he lunged at them with the knife. The video indicates otherwise. Also, the evidence includes a knife with a 3 inch blade. No gun. Why does the report include lies ?
Also, it's known the kid was on PCP and that was he was in lala land. The police didn't know that at the time, but they should have guessed that either he was very messed up, or else severely disabled in some way. Didn't any cop have a taser ?
Factless ? I don't know about that.
I think I have a good idea of what will happen. The cop will say what he believed was happening, which the video will show was not happening, and they will make the case that it's about what he thought was happening, and they will essentially hope the court and jury are merciful. Probably go for a manslaughter conviction, based on the "heat of the moment" and human error.
That could succeed. It's the sheer incompetance that bothers me. IT does happen usually poor areas with black youth or young men. And yes all lives matter. Whether the cops are trigger happy in these instances because the perps are black or whether it's because they are pussies or incompetent or whether it's because their training sucks, it doesn't matter. THey have to do better at avoiding these incidents.
I think we all know there were cops at the scene that were thinking "aw fuck, that didn't have to happen, that TOTALLY should not have happened." I also believe that at least 90% percent of current or retired cops viewing the video think pretty much the same thing.

Not surprising that he isn't disturbed by a young man running around brandishing a knife in a threatening manner, but he is disturbed that cops shot the nutcase. I bet if the man was white, Obama wouldn't even make noise about it, after all cops are supposed to protect us from crazies with knives.
