If all the zoos in the world are not worth as much as one human life, then they aren't worth as much as one gorilla life. It's time we stop treating sentient creatures as property. If an animal can have a conversation with you through sign language, it's sentient. Caging it and putting it in situations where you may have to take its life is paramount to slavery and violates the 13th Amendment.
