"Not only will I stand up for Article One," Trump enthusiastically stated, according to the member in the room. "I'll stand up for Article Two, Article 12, you name it of the Constitution."

Dumbass.

Are you implying that someone running for President should be familiar with the Constitution??

The wall just got 5 feet higher!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yikes. You'd think he could find some good help on his campaign team, but it's one gaffe after another lately.
"He's just a big dumb animal, folks!"
Name that movie...

The constitution wasn't written to be interpreted by Constitutional lawyers.

It stands on its own. The Constitutional Lawyers are the most likely to say they'll uphold the constitution, but proceed to crap on it when they get in office.
Then when they get caught, they talk to the AG on the tarmac and are pardoned the next by the prez then the head of the FBI says no charges, the ex-First lady/ex-SOS then tells the AG she'll keep her around if she is elected, and the FBI director gets a high prestigious appointment at the Democrat convention.

Tell me again how I'm the stupid one for thinking something screwy is going on?

It's obvious that Trump was a Trojan horse, sent by the Clinton fucks, to destroy the GOP, and help Hillary win the election. She certainly couldn't do it on her own merits, so they decided to go all in on the "she's not Trump" route.

Labor and We The People really gave the Oligarchs a run for their money though. First with carrying Sanders all the way to a contested convention, with Labors' own money and the grassroots movement of real people outside of the political priviliged sphere, putting in all the work. And second, by rejecting Clinton for the abysmal candidate she is, by actually supporting Cheeto Jesus to the point that the Clintons will have to take a page out of their close personal friends playbook, and go all Bush 2000 with the diebolds.

Pretty sure that moronic breitbart hit piece was metaphorical when it said the DNC gave Comey the opening speech. They were referring to his public announcement about the investigation. You're not stupid so much as gullible.

Don't be so hard on him. He can read the constitution after he is elected, and then he can decide which parts he agrees with.

With just the smallest bit of humility and gratitude toward Sanders, Clinton could sew up millions more voters. I'm glad Sanders is holding off on his endorsement and getting all he can out of her before the Convention......unless, of course, he can wrest the nomination from her. But no, she's too arrogant to learn the lesson. If it weren't for the Supreme Court....it's all she's good for.

What I liked about having a constitutional lawyer for President is:

1) He was smart enough to be a constitutional lawyer (from Harvard no less)

2) His reason for studying constitutional law (when a young adult) was not that he was thinking about how to make money.

Do you comprehend my point even a little ? I'm old school in that I respect intelligence and it's one of the most important things I look for in a President.

Thanks for clearing that up.

We figured you more as a strict policy guy - no detail in position papers too small, no implication of a candidate's policy statements left unexamined - so it's interesting to note that you vote more on group identity.
