Trump is a weapon against the Establishment. The GOPe is afraid of him as much as the Clintonista Democrats are, all of whom are in bed with Wall Street and the Saudis (Bush and Clinton both). Murdoch fired Ailes because Ailes backed off from trying make Fox News an Anti-Trump Channel. This is a guy who made a fortune for Murdoch.
The GOP Establishment was never for Trump. They are desperate. The internals must absolutely stink, as they much prefer a Status Quo Clinton to a Trump. Glad to see the cockroaches coming out of closet.

Trump is to the GOP what Warren and Sanders are to the DNC, an imminent and existential threat.

Breaking news for dimwits.
He has this long history of fucking people over and saying he did them a big favor.
Exactly. He's a con man and he's conning the dumb ass conservative base. And they are so stupid they don't even realize they are being made fools of.
The Republicans are looking for any way to stop the Trump presidency,
This isn't new. They've been trying to stop him since he gained traction in the primaries.
@Dan8267 look up Murdoch's relationship with Hillary and you'll know why Fox News does not support Trump.
Trump knew (as well as everyone else) that both the republican and democrat parties are a one party whore. Unfortunately, he had to run with one of them to have any chance of getting elected.
And that says a lot. Fox News is the propaganda arm of the Republican Party, so you know that when they are trying to kill a Republican's career, it's important.

And Republicans are fleeing from Trump like he was a black Democrat.

When your dis-invited from Republican rallies and the top Republicans are "sickened" by what you say, that says a lot. The Republicans are looking for any way to stop the Trump presidency, not because they think there is a snowball chance in hell that they can get a replacement this late that could win, but because they fear a Trump presidency. They fear it far more than a Hillary Clinton presidency.
