Former Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane, an elected Democrat who worked on Hillary Clinton's 2008 presidential campaign, is headed to prison for up to nearly two years. She was convicted on nine felony counts in a case involving a shocking abuse of power aimed at a political foe.

Kane leaked grand jury secrets in a plot to discredit a rival who she believed was responsible for a negative newspaper article.

Kane not only served on Hillary's campaign in 2008, but Bill Clinton cut an endorsement ad for her own primary election in 2012.

She was also viewed as a possible Senate contender for 2016. The following entry in Wikileaks shows that the Pennsylvania senate seat was considered the 4th most important race in 2016. The notes are pretty remarkable, as Hillary's campaign says the criminal charges aren't “huge news” because “these problems have been going on for a while now.”

It does, according to the email, indicate the Democrats have “a recruiting question.”

Namely, why are their candidates so prone to being willing to commit crimes? Maybe it starts at the top with the Democrat Party?
