If you took trump literally, you are a fool in educated clothing.

President-elect Donald Trump's administration will not pursue further investigations of Hillary Clinton related to her private email server or the Clinton Foundation, Trump's former campaign manager Kellyanne Conway said Tuesday, a significant break from a major campaign promise.

"I think when the President-elect, who's also the head of your party, tells you before he's even inaugurated that he doesn't wish to pursue these charges, it sends a very strong message, tone, and content" to fellow Republicans, Conway said in an interview on MSNBC's "Morning Joe."
At the second presidential debate in early October, Trump threatened Clinton, saying that "if I win, I am going to instruct my attorney general to get a special prosecutor to look into your situation."
Conway said Clinton "still has to face the fact that a majority of Americans don't find her to be honest or trustworthy," but added that "if Donald Trump can help her heal, then perhaps that's a good thing to do."

Trump says whatever he has to say to win.
Now, after the victory lap, the true trump will emerge as the populist centrist he's always been.

Obama was a media product, Trump is self produced.
I'm interested in originality.

Obama was so fucking bad, Trump has a lot of fucking up to do, before the Frog even begins to get warm in the pot.

I'm pulling for him, seems like an awful lot of trouble to take out the whole goddamned Establishment, become the most important person on the planet, then fuck it all up on partisan hackery.

Pay attention kiddies, Trump isn't even sworn in yet. He's going to melt some faces with his presidential awesomeness.

I bet by the 3rd month in, he'll be more popular than Lady Gaga even with the Libs. Well not the Libs per say but Trump will be plucking their Pigeons for now, and they aren't going to like that one damned bit.

It's going to be funny when Trump has to prosecute Hillary because of the noise from the Libtards rather than from the people who voted for him.
We didn't jump on the Trump train to prosecute Evil Liberals just expose them so that they are irrelevant for decades to come. We voted Trump to fix the things and do exactly everything that he is doing right now.
The Liberals once again will be sucking hind teet because they are being spoon fed Liberal rubbish. When the Trump progress starts being noticeable. My Democrat coworkers are going to start asking me.

Well how come I didn't know I was going to have $800 a month more of my paycheck every month? How come nobody told me?
Why didn't Trump say he was going to create a booming economy. Why didn't Trump say he was going to level the economic playing field?

They aren't going to ask why didn't he put Hillary in jail and build a wall.

Since the economy effects the election Trump may be a one term president. As a recession is highly likely in the next 4 years.

He is acting the way he has to act because of the beltway establishment.

By recession you mean that Facebook stock is going to tank and Google will only be worth the amount of advertising revenue they generate.
Then you are correct. It's going to be an excelent time to be a self starter middleclass.

Remember Trump has always said you don't announce in advance when you are going to attack.
By saying he won't he takes the Obama pardon away, once he is president and his FBI/Attorney General want a Grand Jury do you think Trump will try and block it?

Got it. But I go to Breitbart to post to get my fair share of abuse, Ranina. There are white supremacist rats all over the place there.

How can you be sure? There are many who keep their racist views to themselves.

A Hillary prosecution would be a distraction from policy goals the new administration wants to implement. It would also be a waste of resources and waste of political capital. It would also seriously rile every leader in the government or without, making them fear for their freedoms and resist him at every turn.
Also Trump is complicit in buying Clinton influence, although he mostly just used it to get building permits and the like. Why do you think she was at his wedding?
In the end, retribution just isn't worth it politically, so it won't be pursued.
It was a sound bite, and it worked well to reinforce the idea that Trump is a law and order President as opposed to a traitor like Hillary.
This is how power works.
Rew shared a video link a month or so ago that led me to this book: "The Dictator's Handbook." I bought it and read it and it was VERY enlightening as to how power works. So thanks @Rew for that.

I heard it was just on the email server but NOT on the Clinton Foundation. That's a different ongoing investigation.

From http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/22/us/politics/donald-trump-visit.html
Mr. Trump said he did not want to inflict any more suffering on Hillary Clinton, explaining why he did not intend to investigate Mrs. Clinton for her handling of classified information or the *dealings of the Clinton Foundation*.
