Donald Trump could issue 100-year very long bonds, or perpetual bonds. The Fed could issue helicopter money. These ideas may be all that is left to help America without crushing ourselves with government debt.

This is important, to help the deplorables who do not understand it. Even Trump wants you to be smarter.

By the way, if Trump wants to take pressure off the government, and still fix infrastructure, he needs to consider this issue. His team is talking about 100-year bonds. If people do not think they are a good idea, they need to offer reasons why not. I thought people here did not want Trump to fail. If he is to succeed, he needs to revisit what made America great in the beginning.

There's a very good reason you are not on the transition team.

You do know the Trump team spoke about very long bonds. Tell me your concerns, Bass.

Still waiting, Bass. School me on why, if the 100 year bonds or even perpetual bonds were good for the founding fathers that they are not good for us?

Because it's not necessary to issue 100 year bonds? Anything we issue gets gobbled up by the markets in no time. We are America...numero uno.

It is necessary. In my view it would make regular bonds more available to Wall Street while pensions and insurance companies who do not need to always be competing with Wall Street could buy the bonds and hold them to maturity. They need the better yields. You did not read the article. Maybe you want your insurance and pensions to fail.

Insurance is a scam. My term life expires in a couple of years, and i don't plan on renewing.
For my retirement i will be depending on:
SS
401k's
rental income
investment income
savings
