I like this guy.
You should be asking:
"In a country of ~350M People, with the first amendment and a history of partisan politics, how is it that all the major media outlets, on Trade and Foreign Affairs, all come down pretty much on the same side on just about every issue."
Does it bother you that all the Islamists and Wahabis hate that Russia is helping to remove ISIS? Twitter was awash in Muslim whinging when Aleppo was taken, and a Turkish policeman who had guarded Erdogan himself on several occasions just assassinated the Russian ambassador (and last I heard, another Russian diplomat is missing in Turkey). Erdogan imprisoned 120 journalists and shut down many of the secular opposition's newspaper. Yet not a peep from the US or NATO besides some barely audible, very soft protests. If Putin imprisoned 120 journalists and shut down oppo media... you'd never hear the end of it.
For the other thing, it won't be proven in court because nobody investigates it. If the police write it off as another fatal robbery (even though the victim was shot in the back and the perp took nothing) in DC, that's as far as it will go. If you don't look for something, you won't find it.
Again: "Wikileaks doesn't reveal sources, but notice the final dates of the DNC leaks."
PS There were fears the Obama administration was going to stand aside at the UN and allow another Arab anti-Israel resolution go ahead:
Israeli settlement construction drew condemnation from the State Department earlier this year, in addition to the rebukes of more customary critics, raising fears in Israel and among congressional Republicans that President Obama might not veto a resolution on the matter in the waning days of his presidency. President-elect Trump stated his opposition to the resolution, as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was lobbying Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi to drop the resolution.
Egypt sponsored it but Sisi delayed the vote because of this statement:
Trump's statement might have had the greatest influence on the Egyptian decision, beyond Netanyahu's lobbying or other American statements. "Diplomats in Tel Aviv speculating that Sisi didn't cave because of Israel, but rather because he didn't want to piss off incoming president," Economist correspondent Gregg Carlstrom tweeted.
THANK GOD Victoria Nuland and James Clapper and other schmucks will be out next year.
(PS How come the Arab League never condemns Turkey in Kurdstan? Or Albanians in Kosovo, if there are any Serbs left alive in the province?)
Perhaps, their point of view regarding this issue enraged certain actors to such a degree that they have decided to embark on a full blown propaganda information assault as a form of payback for not unconditionally backing Israeli government.
It has been proposed that it was powerful interests in Russia and payback for Hillary's meddling in Russia and her policies regarding Russia. Perhaps Israel too. Maybe Trump was somehow informed of these headwinds against Clinton, and therefore believed that his primary objective would be winning over the right wing base.
This would go a long way towards explaining his strategy, which clearly focused on the white, guns, gays and God crowd, in it's current form which is also a backlash to identity (PC) politics and the pain of having had a black President, that is it was all about winning the republican primaries, and nothing whatsoever to do with the true political objectives on the right (lower upper income taxes, dismantling social security, delaying transition to renewable and sustainable energy sources, etc.).
Then after winning the primaries he would move to the middle a little, or at least try to control himself, while these other forces helped Hillary lose, not that she wasn't already very unpopular.
I had a rather extensive conversation with a russian jewish immigrant yesterday. He has absolute disdain for Hillary - in fact he called her "Sterva" - which is an extremely insulting word in russian, I don't even know how to translate it. He also claimed that she is an "anti semite and is friends with muslims." So, I proceeded to ask for specifics and somewhat predictably, the other party would not provide much of substance. The only thing that was mentioned is that she is "against settlements." So, I proceed to ask - "if someone criticized construction of settlements, does that automatically make them an anti-semite?" "Yes", the subject responded and then proceeded to say how "the whole world is against Israel" and how he likes Trump "because his son in law is a jew." Then, he goes on to mention that Hillary "assassinated people" by hiring hitmen. So, I ask, if that's so, how come it has not been proved in the court of law and how come she is not imprisoned for it? The subject would not provide any logical response.
The subject gets his news from some stations in Europe (some directly from russia) that are carried by some special satellite from Germany. This got me thinking - are these news outlets somehow linked to certain sites in america and is the crux of anti-Clinton propaganda rooted in her and Barack's criticism of Israeli settlements? Perhaps, their point of view regarding this issue enraged certain actors to such a degree that they have decided to embark on a full blown propaganda information assault as a form of payback for not unconditionally backing Israeli government.
