Is Irrespective a real word?
It is probably a combination of "irrespective" and "regardless" which is sometimes used humorously. Oxford Dictionary says: Irregardless means the same as regardless, but the negative prefix ir- merely duplicates the suffix -less, and is unnecessary.
Well, that's what I meant, so I'm sticking with it.
I swear English is a severely messed up language.

So all their funding has to come from charitable contributions ?
What's missing from your reasoning is that health care (medicaid, planned parenthood), food stamps and such that are provided by the government are essentailly forms of back door corporate welfare. Providing certain benefits to low wage workers makes it possible for them to live on those low wages. Warren Buffet and other wise capitalists believe in increasing this type of support (with tax credits to working poor) rather than decreasing it. That is, as an alternative to raising the minimum wage.
I think he may be right.

Because public health is a government concerned. The government has always been involved in fighting STDs. They kill soldiers and disable the most productive members of society, those in prime working ages.

Good lord, at this point all planned parenthood is to the democrats is another voting bloc/wedge issue. There's plenty of really rich democrat supporters who can fund planned parenthood just fine.
Irregardless of the other politics at the Women's March on Washington, Scarlett Johansson's speech on the necessity of Planned Parenthood is great. Planned Parenthood is known mostly for providing abortions, but abortions are only a tiny fraction of the services it provides, many of which are essential health care services that save lives, reduce unwanted pregnancies, and decrease the transmission of STDs. Instead of giving a typical fuzzy feeling speech, Johansson sites specific problems that Planned Parenthood solves and how it helps teenage girls and women live healthy and safe lives. This was a substantive speech.
