The same principle applies to formerly healthy older adults who break a long bone and have to be confined, then suddenly die during the recuperation because of not enough movement.

So treadmill desks would be ideal? Or perhaps bicycle desks? Walking while typing might be tricky so cycling would be the best.

I hope they put died during a live-streamed attempt to play 'World of Tanks' for 24 hours in his tombstone.

Prolonged eyestrain and task concentration is more deadly than forced prolong physical activity for the same amount of time.
The guy strapped to a Gamming machine with a screen a few feet way will kill over before the guy moving a pile of rocks from one spot to the other.
I lost my better than 20/20 eyesight I had all my life during a one period where I was coding for 18 hours slepping about 4 or 5 then waking up and coding another 18 20 hours for two weeks straight when I was in Malsysia.
When I came back I needed reading glasses, and felt like I aged 5 years.

IF I had been moving rocks for two weeks, I would have looked like a Model and a few years younger.
