Which is British English for Subcontinental, and since terror is involved, almost certainly a Pakistani Muslim.

* Up to 12 mowed down by Car in Westminster
* Police officer stabbed
* Suspect shot by police
* Palestinian Style Attacks

You racist. It could be anyone (who is a Muslim)

Jihad Drinking Game.

Take a shot everytime somebody says:

* Not all Muslims
* Makes a false comparison to lightning/shark attacks
* Mental Illness
* Fear backlash on the Muslim Community
* Religion of Peace

* Islamophobia
* Shouldn't result in anti-immigration/anti-refugee policies.

Anyone surprised that the NY Times article does not mention "Muslim" or "Islam"?

Maybe because that information wasn't available when they wrote the piece. I guess you are happy to shout fake news and then when a paper reports what is actually known, you still want to complain about it.

More than likely, but it isn't the job of a journalist to say a Muslim did it when it isn't yet known to the press. Still remember the rush to lay blame for Oklahoma? No harm in actually waiting for the facts to come out.

This is pure political suppression of inconvenient facts.

What a load of bollocks. If you don't know the identity of the perpetrator, you don't say he's Muslim, do you?

We know how the game is played. Don't speculate or mention officials' speculation that "Asian" attacks may be Islamic, even though they fit a pattern seen repeatedly. But report the weakest of rumors from "anonymous" officials against people Carlos doesn't like.

13   zzyzzx   2017 Mar 22, 9:27am

Obligatory:

14   MisdemeanorRebel   2017 Mar 22, 9:29am

PS Today is the one year anniversary of the Belgium Attacks.

Pure coincidence I'm sure.

Some Jain was just upset that Theresa May refused to pass a bill condemning the holocaust of dustmites and bedbugs by UK Exterminators.

They were reporting information stated in a dossier drafted by an (ex?) MI6 officer. You want a paper to state the identity of an attacker when it's unknown. Those two things are not the same.

Who was a paid oppo researcher for the Dems. That part gets left out.

"We don't speculate if an intersectional perp is involved. But we'll freely headline the President walking down stairs, asking if he's fearful of stairways."

A source. I'm quite sure if a source reports that 'Abdul' from 'Syria' carried out the attack that that too will be reported. Until then, I don't quite see what you are complaining about. That the press are reporting the known facts during a developing story?

That they're not speculating freely like they do when "Certain People" are accused of various things. Why not speculate freely about the attacker?

I remember SanBer they certainly speculated their ass off about it being right wing gun nuts, white guy workplace violence, etc. until the police reported otherwise.

I'm sure this attack was done by a Pharsee angry on Noruz, and has nothing to do with the anniversary of the Belgian Attacks. Why even mention that connection?

When it's apparently an attack by an intersectional, wait till all the facts are in. If it could be reasonably anything else, speculate wildly until the facts are in.

Good grief. They were not speculating. They were reporting information in a dossier from a source with access to intelligence information.
And why would good journalists state the identity of a terrorist suspect until his identity is actually known, but I'm quite sure plenty of your favoured websites are stating the likely motives and religion of the attacker already. The inference is already there with the 'terrorist attack' aspect of the reports, but then again you do have incidents when it's simply a crazy on the loose, or when it's a home grown white man for that matter. Why inflame an already inflammatory situation any more than necessary?

LOL, they were reporting an obviously ludicrous document that made outrageous claims. And, unlike every other "anonymous" piece of info they received, Buzzfeed put the whole thing out, which actually backfired on them when people read it and realized what sheer folly "Hieronomous Bosch Painting" collection of BS it was.

The media also played up Cohen in Prague, and kept doing so until he proved he was in LA with his kids at the time.

When it's Trump, every allegation is true until obviously otherwise.
When it's a Terrorr attack, it can't be Radical Islamic Terror until obviously it is. Until then it could be workplace violence, middle aged murder-suicide, etc.

If many intel agents are like this cray cray dude, no wonder the world is fucked up.

You mean the #MSM reporting that Trump was under surveillance by intelligence agencies?

True or False: The Obama Administration requested a FISA warrant around the summer of 2016, which was rejected, and then another, narrower one in October that was approved. Specifically, to look into Servers in the Trump Tower for Financial Connections between Trump and Russian Banks. Nothing was found, but there are allegations the surveillance continued regardless.

Wiretapping? I'll give a 70-year old a break confusing wiretapping with other electronic surveillance.

He's clearly an atheist. After all Stalin and Mao were atheists, therefore
1. The evils that Stalin and Mao did were due to atheism, not imperialism. All other empires in human history have been benevolent. Just look at the British empire or the Roman empire.
2. Since Stalin and Mao were atheists, all atheists must be evil emperors.
3. Since 1 and 2 are true, all evil must be done by atheists.
4. Therefore, the attacker had to be an atheist.
5. And therefore not religious.
6. And therefore not a Muslim.

And this logic has to hold true because if it didn't, one could argue that all religions including Christianity are inherently bad, and we cannot allow that.

30   Peter P   2017 Mar 22, 10:46am

Yep, I don't see a crucifix, yarmulke, or any Muslim Hat thing, so must be a militant atheist angry the UK funds Religious Schools with Tax Dollars and allows Religious Courts to adjudicate civil things like divorce.

Chris Hedges to appear on TV to condemn atheists in 3...2...

32   Rin   2017 Mar 22, 11:03am

BTW, many Chinese, Koreans, and Japanese think of ppl from the Indian Subcontinent as the black ppls of Asia, not Asians.

Sorry, don't shoot the messenger, I'm just bringing up the obvious racism in Asian countries which the PC types can't acknowledge racism outside of the America.

Here's a better example, King Leopold in Africa ...

Here's a genocide, nearly forgotten in modern times by a non-atheist Imperialist.

34   MisdemeanorRebel   2017 Mar 22, 11:07am

1. Light Candles
2. Fly Flags half-staff, light up buildings
3. As victims with "Catastrophic" injuries lay dying, warn about Over-reaction, hasty decision making.
4. Talk about how it is related to Colonialism and Oppression and Global Warming
5. Forget about it and start talking about the need to confront "Racism" over a Religion.

Also:
1. Let's not engage in Gorn over photos of dead, injured people. No hasty deportation operations.
2. But take a look at this picture of a toddler drowned during a mafioso-human smuggler operation, we must take all refugees immediately, no debate.

Not really because many Indians (see Hindus), aren't Muslims and thus, when there's a backlash, it's usually aimed against them and not Muslims.

37   Ceffer   2017 Mar 22, 11:12am

Free shit would cure this Muslim.

38   Rin   2017 Mar 22, 11:15am

I think the ppl who need to stand up are the Hindus and Buddhists (not Richard Gere & his ilk) and start to tell the public to stop shooting at 'em, because they look like Pakis, Arabs, or Malays.

It's not about race, it's about religion.

Already happening, I hear the BBC is being sued by Sikhs who object to "Asian Gangs" when the vast majority (maybe all) of the indicted are Muslim Pakis and Bangladeshis.
