Child Support is based on a minimum + what the father can pay. A father pays less for successive kids, but a minimum for one.

You can test this yourself on a child support calculator.

A woman with one kid from one man making $60k would expect about $1100/month child support for the one child.
If she had three kids from one man making $60k she would only get $1950/month in child support for all 3 kids.

BUT, if she had one kid each from three different baby daddies, each making $60k/year, she would get $3300/month in child support for the SAME number of kids.

PLUS, Child Support is bizarrely non-tax deductible for the Father, yet does NOT count towards most Government Freebies and Aid when calculating income for the mother, or is counted at a fractional amount. Yet it CAN be used in applying for many private financial loans also, like most home loans.

Also, most women get M-F custody and enjoy party weekend every (other) weekend with the kids getting free government daycare (Public School) most of the week and almost always a gov subsidized/free meal, sometimes breakfast as well. Whereas the man works M-F and is a full time father on the weekends. It often turns out the guy is providing more meals on the weekend than the mother does all week thanks to School Meals. Unlike M-F where the kids are in school most of the day and mom is free to work a shitty P/T job to maintain welfare eligibility and maximize goverment payouts.

So women are incentivized to have one child per father.

And also totally messed up, basically rewarding and encouraging womynz to take the child away from the Dad as much as possible: you'd think the child support paying party should be the one claiming the child.they pay for as a dependent, it's just logical to give the payer a break! But no, the non-custodial parent, i.e. the parent having the child 49% or less of the time, cannot claim the kid as dependent! So not only the "higher earner" (almost always the man) pays child support after taxes while the receiver gets it tax free, the receiver usually also claims the child as a dependent. "By now you all are aware of the worst 17 minutes in Lahaina history. We suffered the loss of so much and so many. This event left us emotionally, physically, and financially hurting. They don't deserve that kind of life.

My 10 cats were all rescued and fostered with the intention of getting them adopted locally. Now this is impossible due to the wildfires and Maui Humane Society and other sanctuaries are overly populated, plus I am very emotionally attached to them as well, so given them up to a sanctuary was my last resort in given them a better life, but felt like that was my only option.

But there is a light at the end of the tunnel; I did find a kindhearted soul on the mainland that is willing to take all ten of them! That kind-hearted soul is a man I shared many years of my life with; he is my ex-husband and my best friend. He would fly out here to cat-sit for me every time I needed to leave the island not only because he loves my cats, but because he respects them along with every other living critter. He is the only one I trust with my cats.

He right away said he would take them all in and give them the good life he has given all our other pets. He has lived in the home we shared for over 15 years and has no plans on ever moving out, so I know my cats will have a very stable and happy home there.

I also found ONE flight from Maui to Austin, Texas that can accommodate all ten cats! Alaskan Airlines is charging me $150/carrier to go on cargo. They can only accommodate THAT particular flight with all my cats. The flight is from Maui to Seattle, then Seattle to Austin. This is huge and I felt I had to act on NOW. I did, and now I need to raise funds to pay for them to fly out to him.
