The real reason married men live longer

Sexual activity accelerates aging in male rats
Full whitepaper: sci-hub.ru/https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/28965259/

This would indicate unmarried men live longer. If constant sexual activity ages rates more quickly, I would guess unmarried men would age more slowly.

This is a play on the old joke that women stop putting out when you marry them. Along the line of - "Why is the Bride smiling? Because she has given her last BJ."

Engagement Ring Sales Down

Signet Jewelers (SIG), whose corporate umbrella includes brands such as Zales, Jared, Kay Jewelers, and Diamonds Direct, reported that many early relationships, in particular, ended as lockdowns began in the winter and spring of 2020, which was then followed by a significant decrease in dating.

Zales, Jared, Kay Jewelers, and Diamonds Direct are all part of the Signet Jewelers corporate umbrella.

According to what was mentioned, this produced an "engagement gap."

Jamie Singleton, president, and chief consumer officer of Signet Jewelers, stated that "We're still seeing it today" during the company's investor day last week. "We're still seeing it today,"

Singleton, citing research conducted by the company, stated that the typical amount of time between a couple's first date and their engagement is 3.25 years.

"Happy Wife, Happy Life" isn't in the Bible.

And it's not a guideline, but when you think about it, an ultimatum.

Things are now so bad that a spouse's mere non-happiness (not adultery, not abandonment, not severe abuse, not the other partner's serious and unmitigated addiction issues) is considered a valid reason to end a marriage. Think about that.

Are Tradcons just Feminists going the Speed Limit?

She also “mis-gendered” Austin by referring to him using proper English pronouns. The horror.

Sometimes I wonder whether we’d be having these kinds of problems at all, if the feminist movement hadn’t cancelled men’s long-standing social obligations to protect women. Feminists said they didn’t need men, why would they, the law would protect them. Society had evolved beyond such repressive primitive notions of men being women’s saviors and protectors.

Well, who do you turn to when the law turns against you? The law has turned against real women in a lot of places. And it looks to me like many trans men are actually just predators in drag, men who take advantage of and victimize women every way they can, including stealing their cycling prizes and exposing themselves in the locker rooms for their own perverted grins and giggles.

Fifty years ago, a guy who exposed himself in a women’s locker room would have to move to a new town. The town’s men would have made sure of it. And they certainly wouldn’t have let perverts play with girls.

Can we — should we? — return to the place where men feel valued, appreciated, and respected for taking up the duty to protect women? Or have we evolved beyond that now?

Maybe I’m off track here, and please forgive me if I am, but I seems a smidge problematic that there’s an entire generation of boys who’ve been taught women don’t NEED — or even want — to be protected. In fact, boys are being taught even OFFERING to protect women is de facto insulting and disrespectful.

Instead, they learn that women can protect THEMSELVES, thank you very much (with a little help from the law).

Women often say they feel "desired but not valued".

I think it's often true that men are valued but not desired. That is, women want a man, but aren't into sex nearly as much as men are.

Totally. Even if you give her an orgasm every time she will never desire you like a man desires hot women. Not feeling valued is just a smokescreen for I want less work and more money and "fame". Also that's why the sex and the city you go gurl hot sex makes me happy propaganda has produced a majority of lonely and unhappy womyn on ssris these days.

"Genuine Desire" - another great Rollo Point.

Women love sex - but only with rough Bad Boys who objectify them and use them, at least once they experience one (another reason BC matters).

Reason why bodycounts ruin women: The story of Gwynneth Paltrow.

original link

Pitt gave her the tingles and was more romantic; Affleck was "Technically Better" in Bed but Pitt was more talented, according to Paltrow. She was also married to some guy from the band Cosplay, the one that ripped off Kraftwerk's riff for their highest charting song.

When Pitt asked her to marry him when she at 24, she refused thinking she needed more time to "discover herself", which she said she didn't do until age... 40?! Imagine a woman turning down Brad Pitt, and saying it wasn't until she was 40 - after she hit the wall and lost 99% of her fertility - that she started "Listening to her instincts".

This is the real reason Bodycounts are bad - women hold out against marriage too long. Only when they either get baby rabies (and their first grey hairs and wrinkles) or perimenopausal, do they suddenly want to get married.

EDIT: Another one is they endlessly compare their partners, trying to find the magic man who is 1/3rd Brad Pitt, 1/3rd Ben Afflack, and 1/3rd other dudes --- in ONE guy. Think about the absurdity if the shoe was on the other foot: "I want a woman who cooked like Minnie Pearl, looked like Heather Locklear in her prime, and banged like Christy Canyon. Until then I'm gonna keep looking." And the guy actually was with all three women at some point.

They try to stay in the "Maiden" stage too long. As the Chinese say, women over 25 are "Christmas Cake" - too stale, too nibbled at.

Like my bounder friend from college used to say, "After 25, they aren't as pink any more." I suppose after menopause, without serious artificial hormonal intervention, it's more like beef jerky.

Bumble Filters for Height, set by Female Users.

If you insist on OLD, Lie about your height; they use filters like crazy, lie about weight and why they're single.

The average US female is 5'3". They can't tell the difference between 5'9"-5'10" and 6'0" anyway, unless you stood next to a ruler.

When it came out with the novel idea that the womyn needs to make the first contact on a match it was the greatest thing for men, taking away a lot of work, instantly weeding out flakes/bots. Plus it was full of decently accomplished hotties (and at least some relationship material) as it didn't have the negative stigma of tinder. I match the height filter and did have 2 dates a week minimum. Used to be miles better than tinder but that was 10+ years ago or so

My Coworker has 3 kids, wife divorced him to run off with a guy she dated in HS around the same age. Wife and lover lasted about 4 months until she realized he burps, farts, and has morning halitosis too.

She said she only married him because society and her family expected her to settle down with a good guy. I told him that wasn't true, that they just get bored and their refusal to accept accountability has them make up excuses.

Utah Woman and author of a Greiving book for kids who lose a parent - arrested for murder of husband.

She gave him a fentanyl laced drink after he sold a house to pay for her business. Records prove contrary to her claims, she was awake while texting a third party all night (her Chad/Tyrone drug dealer side piece).
https://nypost.com/2023/05/09/grief-book-author-kouri-richins-accused-of-murdering-husband/

She told police she left her cellphone in the couple’s bedroom, but phone records show that the device had been used multiple times in the child’s bedroom.

“In addition, tolls on the defendant’s phone show that messages were sent and received during that time. These messages were deleted,” according to court documents, KSL-TV reported.

An autopsy found that Eric died of an oral overdose of fentanyl — with a level in his system that was five times the lethal dosage, according to the medical examiner.

...

Kouri later wrote the picture book “Are You With Me?” to help kids cope with the death of a loved one and appeared on a local TV station to promote it.

The book was published March 5, almost a year to the day after Eric’s death.

According to the book description on Amazon, it was “written to create peace and comfort for children who have lost a loved one. It’s to reassure children that although your loved one is not present, their presence always exist and they walk through life with you as if they were here.”

...

In the book, Kouri wrote: “Dedicated to my amazing husband and a wonderful father.”

According to an obituary, the couple had been married for nine years and had three children.

“Eric did absolutely everything in his power to provide his family with every possible opportunity to learn, grow, and have fun,” the obituary reads.

it was inspired by the bumble bee, also with a paid feature to make a beeline directly to the front for men to be able to contact womyn first, but of course this would be a double negative, you need to pay and have. more work, just let them contact you, they all say at least Hi! if really interested. It was also yellow in appearance, I didn't think the marketing was that bad, but I can see the negative connotation to bum(ble). It was a big success regardless

lol the amount of hard hitting truth telling and red pilling in this thread is approaching Rollo Tomassi/heartiste levels. I'd like to add that I have encountered people say "well then they haven't chosen the right one, my wife is a 10 on all levels!" numerous times. When you hear that it's usually 5 years or less until you hear about their divorce. The only upsides for a man being married these days is chosing a decent mom for your offspring, semi-regular sex with someone who stays hot and in shape as much as biomechanics permit it, and not being alone (for some). Forget about running the household and everything else womyn used to do, And that already is a rare and tall order. Well that and you're being a good Catholic adding on to your sacraments.

Remember that old "Future Shock" book from decades ago? It had a prediction that people would have 3 marriages. The reasoning is that people change and grow apart, so one who is suitable to your personality in your 20s may not be a good fit for your 30s. And then even more change by 50, so 3 marriages.

lol I'm at 1 engagement, and 1 marriage, approaching 50. So we will see, it sounds reasonable, but it's also the result of womyn breaking up easily due to hoelimony and govt. secured lifestyle. Although as the couple ages past 50, maybe into 60s, and the husband stays fit, then I can see that changing from 80% womyn filing for divorce to maybe closer to 60%, and 40% of men initiating (upgrade to newer model/looks). Womyn will still get hoelimony, but will have a harder time in getting judged according to their needs for fame, as most people will see them as used goods who hit the wall a long time ago and forfeit their lifelong promise too easily, no matter what leftoid lamestream media propaganda says. That's why I keep saying the best thing for men is to keep working out and staying in shape and reasonably successful on their own, no matter what life throws at you. I'd say most womyn with the intent to divorce and live off hoelimony do so by age 45, maybe 50 if they stay fit.

That’s why you should marry a woman who can and will work. Or convert her into a working woman once the kids no longer need constant attention. Sometimes this means sending her back to school for a degree. Sometimes it’s just reactivating a career put on hold before that pause becomes permanent.
My wife makes a little more than I do on an hourly basis, even though I wind up making 1.5x her salary because I work more hours.
If she leaves me when I’m older, she’ll have lost not only a life partner and friend, but the father of her children and person she’s closest to. I don’t think this will happen, even with the change in hormones that are happening even now. But if it did, we each have our own incomes and won’t need to cannibalize the other’s life to make our own work.

Guilty as charged and now I notice that too. I got two good kids out of it, and she's out of my hair.

From the dawn of recorded history until the late Victorian Era marriage was regarded as a burden for the Man. The sentimentality of the industrial era really pissed on ancient wisdom.

She actually has a "Marketing Plan", but it's not marketing, it's prospect qualification. Her speadsheet - NO SHIT - begins just before the 2 minute mark. She has qualifiers for the potential multihull prospects, but not much in the way of a Catamaran to exhibit.

Everything from physicially fit to being "Moderate to Left Leaning" Politically - in the required Category. Gotta be taller, but he can't be shallow, while also being minimally or not religious.

Realistic standards for 40-something women:

* Not secretly married
* Semi Housebroken
* Completely Clueless about Women (otherwise you'd have no chance)
