Yes, it's shocking that nothing is being done. Apparently this is not the first time Erdogan has done this in a foreign country. The below link shows his guards' attacks in Ecuador 2016 and NYC in 2011 at UN and 2016 at Brookings.

Why isn't the Turkish President being publicly denounced for this flagrant, illegal violation of American's rights?
So you want to know why a ruthless dictator, who recently staged his own coup in order to flush out and exterminate opposition, is ordering thugs to beat the shit out of anyone he doesn't like?
Maybe you should be asking why American government is inviting and entertaining ruthless dictators in the first place?
