I agree.

It's sad, because America and the West in general wants to respect essentially harmless differences between cultures while stressing our shared commitment to classically liberal Western ideals such as democracy, freedom of speech, and freedom of religion, and the pursuit of happiness as each individual defines it, as long as others are respected.

Islamic garb has become a very good indicator that a person should be immediately deported. It is a gang symbol of pride in sharia, and sharia means violent intolerance of every Western ideal and aggressive disrespect of innocent people pursuing their happiness. It's like wearing a big sign saying "Fuck you, Western values (and LOL that you let me in, assholes!)"

Liberals are not willing to admit that some cultures are really that bad yet. They deny the daily bloody reality in front of them, and so the random murders of innocent civilians will continue as long as liberals keep importing Muslims.

How can anyone disagree with what you just said?
Just before 911 when my children were in elementary school, I would see this woman drop off her kid to the school, like i did every morning. After 911, I noticed she started wearing a hijab. What does that tell us? She is obviously a terrorist supporter. The same logic applies to other Muslims who eagerly show their support for Islam after 911, or name their child "Osama" These are the obvious dangerous Muslims who should be deported first.

I make fun of all religions but don't discriminate based on it. Have hired and will continue to hire muslim students and postdocs. They are free to dress however they want. I still joke and make fun of their magic carpet. They don't seem to mind it and I have remained good friends with some of them long after they have graduated.

As an atheist, all religions are man made to me. However, there are peaceful religions, and there are violent religions. Nothing, in the modern age even comes close to the violent religion, Islam.
We must speak out and ridicule this barbaric religion.

a) religious jokes can add up to a hostile environment, potentially actionable;
b) subordinates "don't seem to mind," i.e. cover their feelings, when they are hoping to get references? Can you tell a smile from a veil?

Maybe book smart, but not street smart.

Also, it doesn't really matter how many Muslims don't kill you in the name of Islam. Making fun of Islam is a capital offense. It only takes enough who will do what Islam says, and one who does.

1. never hostile environment in my group.
2. I don't treat them as subordinates and they know I go out of my way to help their careers.

You should totally mention that time Mohammed tortured Safiya's husband to death to find the location of his money, murdered her father, and then raped her the same day.

It was truly a hilarious episode. They'll enjoy hearing it retold!
14   Patrick   2017 Jun 5, 10:49pm

Or when Mohammed fucked 9 year old Ayesha. She was playing with her toys, but he wanted to fuck so her mom had to take her away from them.

LOL!

15   Patrick   2017 Jun 5, 10:50pm

Or beheading the 800 Jews who had surrendered, sparing only boys without pubic hair and women to sell as slaves.

ROFL!

Or was it 900 Jews? Can't remember.

16   Patrick   2017 Jun 5, 10:54pm

Or when Mohammed had the aged poet Abu 'Afak murdered for writing a less-than-complimentary poem.

The laughs continue! (Imagine how popular you'll be)

And then, the murder of Asma bint Marwan in the night with a child at her breast, because she criticized the murder of Abu 'Afak.

They'll be cheering you on for your knowledge of hadith, and welcome you as one of their own!

Patrick, you have some loose screws in your head. But, yes, I'll ask one of my former students about these things. In fact I will read to him what you wrote.

FP, for the sake of your career and/or your own personal safety, you shouldn't. Joking about their magic carpet makes them think you are ignorant, and they tolerate that.

However, deception is a very important teaching in the Quran. They are not allowed to accept you as their real friend, but they are required to deceive you. In fact, Allah himself is often described in the Quran as "the greatest of all deceivers" or "schemer".

I believe it. Allah managed to deceive 1.6 billion suckers....oops Muslims, all at the same time.
