One of the favored means of achieving this goal is to buy media companies and promote a message.
This is true. Note also the Saudi ownership of Twitter stock which gives them influence over its editorial actions.
A 5% share in stock gives them influence over editorial actions? Is this a joke?
Greed motivates people to do bad things. Is that really so hard to understand?
What you're too poor to understand is that greed isn't just for money. Money is and always has been a stand in for POWER. At some point, money ceases to directly buy power and other tactics must be used to increase ones power. In a Democracy where the people decide who holds power, the path to power is through public opinion. Owning media allows one to help shape that opinion to desired ends.
I really feel that someone intelligent would get this. Shit test, Dan.

CNN Committed Multiple Felonies

No, most people like being rich because you don't have to work and you get a lot of luxuries and a lot of pussy. That guy sailing on his yacht isn't thinking about power. He's thinking "damn, my life is good".
At this point the Hitler Learns meme has run its course and is just lame and creative. It's a meme that must die.
