It's truly mind boggling how alt right has been publishing their manifesto based on so called "race realism", separatism, reversal of gender roles and now they act surprised that there is a counter-response.

Left wing vs right wing extremist violence is nothing new - there are plenty of documentaries about this phenomenon in the 1930s - there are plenty of corpses in spain, germany and italy to testify. Modern day conservatives that try to weasel out and claim that hilter was a "leftist" do not get to re-write history.

Antifa is an off-shoot of Black Block and they have been around since the early 1980's in germany to confront the neo-nazis and they have been very effective. Alt right just got a rude awakening and when certain people say "never again", they mean exactly what they say.

This video pretty interesting. It was shot by Ryoga Vee (aka Based Spiderman) who was to speak at the Patriot Prayer rally on Saturday. He had a dedicated Antifa stalker at the Berkeley rally that got taken down by the police. He was later evacuated by the Oathkeepers.

Ryoga Vee is an interesting guy. Antifa threw a flare thrown at him at the Milo event in February and I think they pissed off the wrong guy. He'll show up to the right wing free speech events even though he is center left. You can corraborate this video with one that Black Rebel posted on YouTube.

It should be easy enough to cripple ANTIFA, just do away with the Obamaphone program.

Keep in mind it is not a terrorist organization. Just a group of similarly dressed people some of who wear masks and use violence to promote their ideas (fuck everybody else's ideas!) and the purportedly nonviolent members will not give up the masked villains or their identity.

Define terrorist organization. They are violently robbing others of their rights to peacefully assemble. They are chasing anyone who disagrees with them through the streets and beating them down with bats, while pouring piss on them.

I'd call that terrorism. The mayor of Berkeley at least calls them a gang now, which is a step in the right direction.

Antifa and its ilk seem surreal. These people are one of two possibilities:
1. Stooges for the right wing to cause alarm and trigger migration to the right as the only solution to left wing authoritarianism and violence; very unlikely because it requires a superbly organized and executed conspiracy. One caveat, it could be executed by a well-funded private benefactor such as the Koch brothers, but they do not seem interested in the topic of racism.
2. They are principally what they say they are- left wing activists. However, their world view is so skewed that they cannot comprehend when they are being ludicrous. In their world everyone else who seems normal and uninvolved are neo-Nazi l Klansmen. Everyone else is ludicrous, not the left who are the only people seeing the situation for what it is.
In any case they are doing more good than harm overall for the alt-right cause and undermining progressive causes. That is probably a good thing if this does not swing full-circle and empower the alt right. As Justicar points out the extreme right and left need each other to give meaning to their opposing (?) viewpoints and convince you if you are not with them, you are part of the problem. But in reality there are more than two points of view and a spectrum of moderate views. I hope the country as a whole realizes both extremes are children throwing tantrums and distorting the situation. While I am not a supporter, Trump is correct that Antifa is a terrorist organization and both sides were at fault in Charlottesville. I’ll add that BLM is a hate group even realizing Antifa will label me a racist because I do not slavishly agree with their every belief.
In their minds, everything a white person says is a code word for White Supremacy unless it is parroting Antifa declarations. Just breathing while white code word for White Supremacy. Remember white silence is white compliance in their minds
