#politics With women coming out of the woodwork accusing men of inappropriate sexual behavior, it seems like Mike Pence's rule of having his wife present when dealing with women was amazingly prescient. Remember when the media was ridiculing him for that?

Pence is correct that the traditional standard is the best standard. We should bring it back as a cultural norm.

If a man and woman are voluntarily alone together, it should be assumed that they are having a voluntary sexual relationship.

I’m not so directly on board with this ...but I never go to lunch at work with any female I can’t tell my wife about. For instance I have a new subordinate who is extremely attractive and whose hobbies line up with mine. She is expert level, I am not, and she has offered lessons. I declined because I would have to lie about it to my wife. I also would not go to lunch alone with her. OTOH I go to lunch with other women that my wife’s has met and I am comfortable saying so. So I guess a modified way of how Pence handles his situation . I do think he’s pretty bright.

Everything about Pence screams that he takes it up the ass. Who was the last Republican to crusade against homosexuality that wasn’t an insatiable pole smoker?

Nothing about Pence suggests genius. If you’ve ever listened to him talk, you’d think he is a halfwit.

TLDR: yup, he’s a big time Republican in every way

Pence is right.

It's the left these days that is so confused in so many ways, including sexually and everything else.

Do when know if Pence lives by the motto, "it's not gay if it's 2 alphas"?

Funny how this is viewed as such a foreign concept.

My wife and I implemented the "no being alone with the opposite sex" early on in our marriage, along with no social media accounts - and guess what, we've never had any infidelity issues.

We're not legalistic, we've just seen enough 30+ year marriages ended because some guy/girl hooks up with their high school bf/gf using social media. We've seen co-workers end multi-year marriages just because they wanted to screw another co-workers brains out. It always starts out with those pesky lunch "dates" or "meetings."

We didn't want our marriage to dissolve, so we put a few safe guards in place. We hit 11 years this year...

The way sexual harassment is handled, facts and innocence are inconsequential. He cans till be accused and found guilty because, well he was accused so he has to be guilty. Always believe the victim.
