The Knesset, Supreme Court, Prime Minister's office/residence, Foreign Affairs and most government offices are in Jerusalem.

Under every conceivable "peace deal" big chunks of Jerusalem were going to be Israel's capital. Why wouldn't are Embassy be there? It has been US law for over 20 years.

In terms of "other countries" treatment of Israel. I don't think Europe, Russia, China and the Muslim/Arab World have a great track record when it comes to dealing with Israel and the Jews.

There is something about Muslims that puzzles me . Muslims can do anything to other Muslims and they don't bother to complain. They just continue to kill each other as usual.
