Bitcoin lost half its value, this correction was due regardless. And I'm sure there's no shortage that will see this as a buying opportunity.

Apparently Wall Street thinks that there is something to this memo.
3   Strategist   2018 Feb 2, 12:05pm

Down 600 points.

It's not the memo

I suppose Bitcoin might have something to do with this.

Trump will step right up and take full credit and responsibility....

If stocks go up 50% and down 10%, Trump gets credit for stocks going up 40%
It's not fair for you guys to give credit to Obama for the rally, and blame Trump for the pull back.
6   HeadSet   2018 Feb 2, 1:00pm

Politics aside, are any of you going to see this a a buying opportunity?

I suspect that Monday morning may be a good time to buy before the market goes back up. I am eyeing two stocks that are now at their 52 week lows.

DJIA ended down 665.75 points, or down 666 points. The number of the beast :-).

If butt hurts = Trump fault.
If feel good = despite of Trump

I would answer this, but I was taken away in the rapture.

Some posters here on Patnet have difficulty with math.

Looking at the futures Sunday night/early Monday morning will give you a good idea which way it will open.

The Obama effect

Asking a question. Do you seriously believe this? I don't believe it's Trump either.

I know this is a stiff task, probably not even doable. Can anyone here prove, with even suspect evidence, a president being able to move say GDP even 0.2% in one direction or another over a years time? While I don't research this sort of thing I have a feeling it will be crickets.

Stop giving so much credit to one person that signs shit on their desk.
14   BayArea   2018 Feb 3, 6:38am

I keep hearing from liberals that Obama was responsible for the market surging over the past year. I wonder if he could have done anything differently during his 8yr term to have prevented the decline this week?

buy early on monday, since it'll recover and at least make some quick cash.

I fully expected a bounce back. Either way I think it's a good time to double down. I think it'll have to go back up, so even if I'm not buying on bottom, I'm sure not buying at the top. Catch what I mean?
