FLINT, Mich — Dozens of Michigan children who had been reported missing were rescued on Thursday as part of an ongoing effort by the Trump administration to crack down on child sex traffickers.

According to a report published by WEIY-TV, 51 of the state’s 76 reported missing children were uncovered as part of a sting carried out by state and local police.

Investigators told WEYI that the goal was to locate children who had slipped through the cracks after being reported missing from school and, or foster care.

Police say many of the children who were located were victims of human trafficking.

The event was just the latest in a string of efforts by the federal government to rescue children who are at risk of human trafficking.

A sting on the sex-trafficking trade in the metro Atlanta area last week netted dozens of arrests and led to the rescue of approximately 160 children who had been forced to work as sex slaves.

Approximately 150 arrests were made in accordance with the Atlanta bust, known as Operation Safe Summer, and the children rescued, some as young as 3-years-old, were taken into protective custody.

President Trump’s battle against child sex trafficking, which he has made a priority in his administration, has resulted in thousands of arrests nationwide, mostly unreported by the mainstream media.

Genesee County Sheriff Robert Pickell says his officers will continue to work until the remaining missing children are located.

Are you serious? We did not stop at a logical point of being a society that understood that being gay is not a choice and accepting the rights of gays to practice their art. We now actively condone (and even encourage) gay marriage, the right of one to declare their gender and force others to comply with the delusion, and even the right of one to force health coverage to pay for a sex change. Pedophilia is the next step. After all, just like with being gay, one does not choose to be a pedophile. True, practicing gays can be limited to consenting adults, but now look to see "victim-less" pedophilia through the introduction of kiddie sex dolls and computer generated kiddie porn. Acceptance of bestiality will be next. along with incest.

This is disgusting . One concern I have is when they classify someone who is 17 and 11 months as a child. In some states, if two underage kids have sex , they can charge one with statutory rape-guess which gender they choose. There should be some age gap after puberty-a 40 or 50 year old going after a 15 yr old-throw him in jail. But 19 to 25 with 17 should not be held to the same standard.

I don't know if it is a choice or not and if it is-as longa s they are adults not our concern. However I do wonder if the rise of feminazism and the metoo type movement, 50% divorce rates, unfair alimony, massive child support all cause men to turn off women completely?

Pedophilia used to be terribly common, especially among the "celibate" priesthood. The Vatican enabled it by moving pedo priests from one parish to another when families complained. This is off topic because most pedophiles are adults who call themselves "straight" and prey on children of the opposite sex. In contrast, gay couples are of the same sex and usually around the same age.

You have posted repeatedly your opinion based on your own experience that male interest in female "T&A" is "hard wired." You realize, I assume, that neither of those is actually a reproductive organ? That is, you can't actually reproduce by 'fertilizing' T&A. Nevertheless, you call that interest "hard wired" as if it were universal. At what point did you "choose" to have an interest in those targets? At what point did you "choose" to want them? I won't ask what you do, actually, but your stated interest would draw you to non-reproductive parts of a person with whom you could probably reproduce if she guides you to the right target. Were you perhaps 12 or 15 when you "chose" to become "wired" to want T&A as opposed to C&B? You might try reading more widely, or asking people more widely IRL. Different people want different things. They do not choose what to want. They may choose what to say and do, but not what to want.
