Special counsel Robert Mueller is recommending no prison time for retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, citing the former national security adviser’s “substantial assistance” in his ongoing investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

“Given the defendant’s substantial assistance and other considerations set forth,” the special counsel wrote, “a sentence at the low end of the guideline range—including a sentence that does not impose a term of incarceration—is appropriate and warranted.”

Mueller trying to save face. He can't substantially nail General Flynn so he issues this Bill Clinton style spin or bluff about Flynn helping his investigation.

Look at how Mueller handled the Dr Hatfill investigation as well as the Supreme Court publicly rebuking the integrity of Mueller's assistant Andrew Weismann.

The same goes for how the Obama admin targeted Carter Page. Now they are saying Trump took bribes from Russia during his campaign (ie, Trump Tower in Moscow), the problem is that the US Code states that the bribe has to be made to an appointed or nominated official. Trump was not in that category and especially he never expected to win. Trump looked as shocked as Hilary and her supporters on election night. Also he never proceeded with the tower plan later on in his campaign.

Or, the information provided could have been so significant as to merit some sort of quid pro quo.

That's the part that's so laughable, and the CNN, WaPo and MSNBC followers are so breathlessly waiting for impeachment, because Trump was looking a real estate deals in Russia. Trump was doing in January 2016 the same thing as all the other 15+ candidates (Senators, Governors, Businessman) that were running. Attending to his business, as he had no idea if he was going to be the winning candidate at that time, and if he didn't win, he would have just gone back to his regular job, just like all the other candidates did when they lost.
