No, they don't, that's why it was a major strategic blunder. Democrats shot their load and gained nothing when they had the chance to TRY and work with Trump.

Does this mean we can't call the Ninth Circuit the 'Legislating Asylum' any more? Maybe all those Hollywood contract dispute Federal appeals made them want to rip off their gowns and clothes and go tiptoeing through the tulips on acid.

Trump basically gave a big middle finger to Kamala Harris and Feinstein this week when he pushed through 3 nominees to the nutty 9th Circus without their approval. Mitch is keeping the senate in session until all 49 remaining Federal judge appointments across the country are filled (4 circuit + 43 district + 2 fed). 15 were confirmed yesterday, all along partisan lines pretty much.
If Trump's nominees are confirmed (and they will be confirmed), it pushes the 9th Circus balance to 13 sane judges and 16 insane judges. Only 4 more and the balance of the 9th would swing sane for a long time.
So much #winning.
