For Mr. Magic; The birthday girl contacted me because 1. she doesn't have a boyfriend 2. she wanted to go out for her birthday 3. she likes me too. 4. from decades of experience, I know that the only reason a female tells me it's her birthday is wishing to go out and eat, which I like to do also when I choose the place.

The birthday girl is not gorgeous and conceited. She has never asked me for money. For the record, I realize she's unable to make ends meet with no vices nor luxuries so if we see each other I don't mind giving her some "gas money."

Being "older" than you, gives me much MORE experience and opportunities to see ALL generations. So, I've seen how my generation handles relationships.

I also have 3 Millennial kids, two who are married. I also know tons of their friends, and see the relationship situations with all of them. You'd be amazed what you can learn when you keep your eyes wide open, and don't succumb to the forces of the matrix.

BACAH and Dregalicious have some points, although I differ to blaming "boomers" for society's ills today.

I too have female friends whom I enjoy time with; two are widows around my age who married older guys than they. A couple others are divorced or were never married.

"Florida man" is pretty funny; I noticed that Florida stories are weirder than California which I thought was impossible. Dailymail seems to have lots of Florida stories. In my small town the one of a kid who threw a small alligator into the drive through of wendy's caught my eye.

A small "unintended consequence" of Obamacare; drug and alcohol rehab is covered, so rehab centers in FL are a growing industry. The "graduates" tend to hang around and there are some very hard to detect severe drunks/kooks out there. A neighbor of mine was a retired engineer from NJ from some govt. job. Later I ran into him at the beach and he seemed a bit plastered. Later I didn't see him and my other neighbor told me "He was caught drunk and jerking off watching the girls playing volleyball in Jupiter. They sent him to jail and then rehab again."

The younger hotter female was frequently broke because she was working part time and going to some type of nursing school and drove a shitty car. When she got a flat tire, or the car broke down, I paid to fix it because I had the dough. She of course also made some requests which were unreasonable. This is not uncommon to her generation. In her defense, she was working two jobs after she got her certificate. She now works about 55 hours per week to save up for another car, her old one blew up and I told her to take Uber to work.

The drunk/pampered pooch whom I haven't seen in a year has a job also; she just thinks she's still dating a zillionaire up in Hutchinson Island. She actually makes about $1400/week my friend told me, but she likes to be wined and dined and won't accept the premise of a free booty call and Netlflix with a guy after work. Her view is reasonable, her tastes were too expensive and she was not as hot as she imagined she was. The Jamaican I dated briefly was introduced to me by a female friend who visited her at her small business.

The less hot one birthday girl has a full time job but is a single mother working 6 days per week and saving up the down payment for a small house, so her social life is limited. She also is socially conservative and a homebody.

Alll of the females mentioned in my stories were introduced to me, I'm not trolling a sewer, I'm not going online, I'm not trolling Facebook, they all work jobs. The pretty one who is in her 20's is frustrated that I am able to fix her "problems" but will not spend my money to do it. She has the quaint notion that people should "help" each other, "give back" to society, etc. which is drummed into their little heads in schools I guess. I say sink or swim honey, and it builds character too.

Dude, they're not insults. You're "buying the cow" every time they call you, you take them out to dinner, then give them cash or pay for their problems or become their Knight in Shining Armor bailing them out of their own issues. You're just NOT getting all the other benefits of the relationship. You're going home by yourself.
