How the fuck did she manage to get something like 48% of the vote?

I'm constantly amazed at how little my peers (who are Democrats) know about the candidates they voted for. For instance, this morning I was speaking with a woman who voted for Stacy Abrams. I asked her why she voted for her, and her response was something along the lines of "she wants to do the best for the community" and "she was raised in a good home" and "she went to three colleges."
I asked her if she agreed with her stance on gun control, immigration, healthcare she knew nothing. When I told her why I disagreed with her stances on these topics, she shutdown and didn't want to talk anymore. She got pissed off at me for trying to have a rational conversation that she was actively engaged in.
It seems like every-time you try to talk to a Dem about the issues, they won't talk about the issues.
This is the same shit I saw back in 2016 when it came to the issues with this coworker (and several others). I'm constantly amazed at how well the Dems do, with how little
Sounds like you are on your way to getting fired.

I know there's many people who could debate with me, and they could take ANY stance/side of a topic, and then proceed to destroy me and make me look foolish in a discussion.
I think discussion is good, but you're probably viewed as being confrontational, or out to prove them wrong. Nobody likes when people come up to them and more or less say "I'm right and you're wrong", challenging their decisions & opinions, even if the persuasion is logical. It's a great way to upset people.

Yes they did. Thank you for proving that Republicans know that which they are voting about, as opposed to Dems who just vote for virtue signalling rights in order to 'fit in'.
Several months ago, she said that Trump is a racist. I asked her why she thought that. Same thing. No proof, just verbal sewage and bits of MSM talking points and rambles about being mean and immigration.
You're dealing with an NPC.
"What do you think of Abrams?"
"I took an arrow in the knee."
"Why is Trump a racist?"
"I hear there are Jabberwockies in the Forest of Doom, Champion. Maybe you should fast travel there?"
If you can't be bothered to remember the name of the person you wish to vote for, than you're ass is out. Write in your own name, or your neighbors. No free advertising on the ballots for the Two Political Parties

Funny. I just want people to prove they are actually citizens and carry an ID to vote. But somehow that’s racist and a spelling test is much more feasible somehow.
I didn't make this up!

Trump for the longest time was the popular culture icon of wealth and what people strive to be (I still do honestly).
He only became a "racist" when he decided to not run as a Democrat, and you know how Democrats treat people who decide to leave the plantation.
