I've driven by the wall from the 5 toward Playas. They only added to old wall closest to Mexico in sections. So it will look really high, then in about 500ft, same 8ft wall for 100ft, then new big wall. So even the section you've mentioned isn't very impenetrable.

It's funny that the so called wall ends at a well maintained road North. Looks like the wall is only there to keep the local Mexicans passing out on their own side of the border.

Can't we just fucking annex Mexico? Or take it over? Then build a substantially cheaper border wall with Guatemala. I like the Belize portion, so they're free to roam. At some point, unmanned drones will be able to easily lift 300lbs at what could be considered an affordable price for consumers, cartels, etc.

I know tunnels get a lot of attention, but if you can be a mile inside Mexico and lift an object (Mexican) one mile into the USA, a wall is obsolete or will be in the near future. Even if the drone is $100k, that's a whole lot easier than building a tunnel.

I don't mind Trump's attention to illegal immigration, just not certain he's going about it in the right way. I also am flying in a week and a half and if the TSA is fucked up because they're not getting paid, I'll be pretty pissed. Vacation, not work, so time is valuable.

About 20 million new retirees will move south to establish senior citizen enclaves in Mexico, and property values there will skyrocket. Mexico will be the most popular of the 51 states overnight.

Annexing Mexico would instantly make the US more than 40% Mexican. (110M new residents + 10M here legally now + 13M illegals) / 300M current US citizens.

This is actually false. Drones are very hard to spot and even harder to shoot down. I have it on a very good authority from a dude who spent two years trying to do exactly that with Russian drones. And the kind of equipment he had at his disposal is not something your average Mexican cartel can easily get their hands on.

Doesn't mean the wall is unnecessary, of course, unless the drones are going to be armed with Hellfire missiles.
